I think Mayweather KO's Cotto. Cotto would never deal with the speed, not even close. He would keep coming forward though and Floyd would be forced to take him out.

I think Cotto/Berto would be one ugly ass fight.\ due to Bertos style. Dude aint just gonna get thrown down like Clottey but hurled into 3rd row :D

As I have said before unless Bob Arum is out of the picture this fight will never happen. As for who would win, replay Mayweather-Gatti, Cotto doesn't stand a chance.

i don't see floyd fighting any dangerous fights. he's had six fights at welterweight and was visibly hurt in three. twice against mosley.

There are loads of people saying what a good fight it would be and how Cotto would give him problems.

People were saying the same **** about Mosley v Mayweather before the fight was actually made. Its obvious that after two KO losses that Mayweather would get **** all credit for beating Cotto at this point no matter how much people say they want to see the fight today.

:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl see what I mean, no matter who he fights it will be someone else. Even when Cotto has been KTFO twice floyd is afraid to fight him. Or floyd is afraid to fight margo now even though he dominated Mosley.

    Youre that guy.

Please don't put Cotto and Gatti as equals...... That's just ******ed and I am a huge Gatti fan. Cotto is quite a bit above gatti as far as skills go.... That being said Mayweather still takes a wide UD

i think with another solid win under cottos belt this fight would be pretty big and gain a lot of interest, although nothing compared to pacquiao mayweather, ofc i favor mayweather right now vs cotto, the guy is too smart and too fast

**** no. This fight would be a joke.... Maybe cotto (pre-margarito) would of gave floyd a fight. Cotto is no longer in his physical prime, he took 2 brutal ass whoopings. Cotto is done, once he fights a real fighter he will get knocked out.

lol. i'm not really that guy, i was picking fun at floyd as a welterweight. i know he wasn't really hurt by judah or hatton, it's funny to see people jump on someone for saying their favorite boxer was hurt. that's the guy i am.

just out of curiousity, who is downplayed after losing to floyd? because genaro, chico, castillo, and judah aren't. more people give credit to floyd for schooling zab than cotto for knocking zab out. i understanding floyd not getting praised for his de la hoya win, who had three unspectacular fights after 2003 before losing to floyd in '07, and shane, who was considered old around the time of the vargas fights.
