If Khan gets by Maidana and Bradley, or Alexander, and remains undefeated, we will see Khan/Mayweather In England. They have been thinking about this fight for quite some time. That's a BIG IF though.

that might have been more to do with weight draining or starvation but if pac and may fort right nw may wud stop him by 11 he is too accurate and clotteybusted him up abit with throwing only a few shots

Khan doesn't have the chin to be P4P.

Khan has an awful chin thats why he clams up as soon as anything comes back at him,he keeps fighters at range with his speed and thats it.I think he will completley dominate maidana by avoiding him,but maidana will take shots and he will land shots that khan just wont be able to handle im afraid. And for the guy that says "what about salita,he was ranked number 1 by WBA" well done to him but we all know he is a joke and he was actually ranked #43 in the division so **** the WBA.

P.S i am a khan fan but lets get real, he needs to be tested!! and to say he may fight Mayweather next summer (in 2-3 fights) i wouldnt have thought so!! thats just plain stupidity, who has he beaten? Salita (in 2 secs) barrera (cut,80 years old) and paulie feather fingers? sure....he is ready to face the PfP King!! maybie when floyd is washed up and has just been sparked out he may come looking (like he did with "his friend" hatton)

I don't get why people say this...Maidana hits hard!! Has anyone properly shrugged off any of his shots? If he catches you clean...he hurts you, it doesn't matter who you are. What if Khan ends up dancing around Maidana all night and doesn't take one clean shot on his way to a wide UD...will he still take criticism even though he will have fought a power puncher like everyone wanted?

I'm not even that much of a Khan fan...but people only want to see him get knocked out again. Everyone knows his chin isn't the greatest, so why would you expect him to take power punches from a knockout artist...

    Marvelous point!

I'm not a Khan fan but I don't expect the kid to stand and trade with punchers. Where the f*ck would that get him? Sparkled again!

He has the natural talent to lead Maidana a merry dance and it wouldn't surprise me if he did just that. Ortiz, Bradley and Alexander on the other hand are all highly skilled and will find Khan sooner or later - and for me - they all beat him because of that!

It's quite obvious that Golden Boy are trying to build Khan up to be their new cash cow while aiming to attract a new fanbase into parting with their money so a fight with Mayweather is entirely possible.

If you look at both Mayweather and Pacquiao they have been big PPV draws off the back of fighting De La Hoya who was the PPV king at the time, so what way to better promote an upcoming fighter than to put him in with the current PPV king?

He doesn't even have to beat Floyd to gain recognition, as long as he doesn't get completely embarrassed (which is possible) then he can make a name for himself off the back of putting up a decent fight since nobody would expect him to win anyway.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't risk him against Bradley or Alexander before throwing him in with Floyd.

I think at this point...it's too early to throw him in with Alexander or Bradley. If he can avoid Maidana's big shots, I see him outboxing him all night (although Maidana is on you for the full 3 minutes of each round).

Khan v Ortiz would be a very good bout...they seem to know eachother pretty well, and Khan already has a victory over him in the amateurs. I could see Khan scraping the victory in this one...as long as we see him continue to progress under Roach.

True, he'd be past his physical prime an Khan would be right in it. I think he could possibly overcome that with his boxing skills. Could be a tough fight by then for Floyd. I see this fight happening though. Would be massive in England, and Mayweather said he would like to fight there sometime.
