:deal Nowhere near as sharp as he used to be a good shot could put that right, the Spanish fella found McCloskey way to often and Lauri is doing it even more tonight.

    Round 6
Mc looking for the 1-2 early on. Right hook lands and seems to have hurt Lauri. Lauri can't miss with his right hook on the inside and he knows it. Some nice bodyshots from Mc this round. This is frustrating, this fight looks a lot closer than it should be. Mc is winning the rounds but Lauri is still in it, still landing.

    5-1 McCloskey

I've got impression PM wants to show he can trade in pocket and slip shots and counter and it's not allowed him to show his full potential. He gets caught far to often. Totally agree LHL. He has impression his reflexes are of the level of PBF...sadly they aren't. He needs to box to his strengths and standing in pocket and rolling away from shots clearing isn't his thing...world class guys would eat him alive in there. Get back to range and do your thing Paul!!!

The right hooks keep landing for Lauri, Watt is right, this isn't a world class performance. Still standing and trading. Brian Peters said in the build up you can't hit McCloskey with a "handful of rice", certainly doesn't seem that way in this fight.

    Though Lauri won that. 5-2

Even though he has only lost one or two rounds McCloskey is fighting like a ******. The guy is 10 times more skilled and slippery than he is showing, what the **** is he doing?

Lauri is finding PM with relative ease now. Paul can't even catch punches on gloves let alone roll them.

    Round 8
Lauri is relentless or does it just appear like that because of the way Paul is fighting :think. Maybe if he used more movement and picked the Italian off he would be close to stopping him, a stoppage doesn't look likely a this stage. Lauri is landing his hooks up close and Mc is landing less. The Italian is deffo on top this round, the odd uppercut thrown in as well and all these punches are landing. Mc looks slightly ragged. Don't think he has the energy left to box his way through the rest of the fight :think

    5-3 Mc
