McCloskey would be easy meat for Khan, Khan's dodgy chin wouldn't even be tested.

Limmond is arguably the same level or just a small level below McCloskey, Gomez (Gomez at the time of the khan fight i am talking about) was a 'titlist' who would have creamed McCloskey if ever they fought. And i would pick Prescott over McCloskey as Mc looks to scrap too much and would get hurt imo, If he boxed like he could he could get the ud but he would be involved in a tear-up which would lead to his demise...

You're way off the mark on all of these matchups IMO. When would Michael Gomez ever have beaten a 140lb McCloskey??!?!

**** Khan and his glass chin. My chin>>>>>Khans and he's a 'World champion' (see: useless bauble holder)

He hasn't really scrapped like that before though. He usually stands off his opponent and moves his upper body to create angles and counter.

when khan fought gomez he was a washed up super featherweight,

Limond is no were near the class of mccloskey

Khan did get hit quite a but against paulie, and we all know mccloskey is a lot harder hitter than paulie, so dont count out the possiblity that mccloskey KO's khan

You say you have seen 7 McCloskey fights? Look the Wright fight up i never seen anyone handle Wright the way Paul did.

Gomez and Limmond come on mate thats not a good example at all.

    :rofl

Like i say mate i have no problems with aspirations and calling boxers out or even chasing paydays. But you have to earn them (not that khan earned his shot at kotelnik btw). I am just sick and tired of boxers calling folk out and chasing paydays and not getting on with the task in hand ala junior witter vs tim bradley. McCloskey should stfu and get on with his work and get a decent rank with a possible eliminator shot and earn a fight against a champ.

They were the boxers who knocked khan down... hence the reason they were mentioned...

As you say McCloskey has looked good in a few fights, I am not disputing that, I am simply stating he is not as good as he thinks he is or nor is he good enough to warrant a shot at khan...

Yeah it's ****ing terrible when the former British and current European champion dares to call for a fight with a ****ing glass chinned fraud who worked his way to a title shot by beating Oisin ***an and a "win" against a way past prime, blown up Barerra :patsch

On McCloskey's worst night he fights the wrong fight against a guy who was a good enough opponent for Hatton and Witter but still manages a spectacular ko. On Khan's worst night he is starched in less than a minute.

To bring this up when talking about Khan (did he even fight a LWW?) is very hypocritical, what did Khan do to deserve his shot? Its not what you earn in boxing it what you get. Some people fight their way to the top some talk it others have a lot of money behind them. The last two are the fast way the first one you need time on your side something Paul doesn't have

I find that very difficult to believe. Your opinion of his seems to be completely based on tonight.

I'm not saying he is world level but that was a terrible performance by his standard. You never know i remember a few years back watch McCloskey on RTE and he was like a ghost hardly ever hit. He seems to be going through the monitions at the minute rather than boxing to the best of his abilities. He needs to get back in form because he will get eaten up at world level with that defence shown tonight.

I will answer that with the responce below already posted by me
