    Good post,

Roy looked really bad against Harding in the first 3 rounds which I gave to Harding, maybe he was starting slow, but he started to look like Roy again as the fight went on if I remember.

Griffin is underrated in my opinion. He had a very awkward style with good reflexes, and was pretty much a damn good fighter at his best. He was certainly giving Roy fits and frustrating him, proof of him getting to Roy can be seen in Roy hitting him when he was down. I really feel Roy was gonna win that fight though. Which is a shame, that would have made him 50-0 before ever losing.

There are few fighters I would pick over him at LHW, I honestly have a hard time picking anyone over him at 168. He also has a good chance at the ATG middles in my opinion.

How can anyone that's knowledgable about boxing deny RJ's greatness. He was without a doubt one of the best fighters in the history of boxing.

    Dint know you was back?

dunno if ya replied to any of my other posts but this first time i seen you lately

as for griffin 1, of course ive seen it. and your wrong. griffin gave jones problems, but look how strong jones was in the latter rounds, griffin took a knee an was on his way out.

montell is vastly underrated and it is a credible victory

People discredit Roy saying he never had to deal with adversity or didn't have a plan B, See Griffin 2 to see how a prime Roy adjusts and comes in with a new game plan.:yep:good

There is no way there are 70-80 better fighters than prime Jones. I don't care if you're adding another planet to the roster, there's just not that many people in the history of mankind that could beat a prime RJ.

This is ridiculous. You can't tell how good he was if he didn't fight the best. You can't say, just based on skill, he'd beat this great and that great. People thought Mosley was unbeatable when Forrest totally schooled him. No one would argue Vernon Forrest was as great of an athlete, not as fast and not as powerful a puncher as Mosley, but Mosley couldn't beat him.
You just can't judge things like this without having seen him against the best. But Roy didn't fight those guys, so he don't get the recognition because he looked great against a career loaded with B level competition.

He was just down right scary that night. I had never seen him come in like that and just try to take someones head off. On that very night, he was one of the best fighters ever in my opinion.

How am i wrong?Did Roy look like **** in that fight or no?

Jsut cause it seemed he was on his way to stop Griffin before he hit him while he was down doesnt erase what happened throughout the fight and that was Griffin giving Jones hell and making him look bad.
