He was down on 1 card. he werent superman but he won more rounds. he cant dominate everyone, but he beat everyone put infront of him.

the dq was justified but he was on his way to victory

stop being a fanboy and talk with your head instead of your heart and you might start making some sense.

Saying those guys who most of them are legit all time greats and some of them rank higher that Jones and have acomplished more than he has wouldnt have a chance to beat him or wouldnt be able to land a punch on him is downright laughable and just proves what i already thought that you dont have a clue about what you are talking about.

Based on your posts I have doubts if you have ever seen any of those guys fight.

I think so too, Roy had already knocked him down in round 7 i think, and was starting to land more often. He was certainly frustrated by Griffin's wiry style though.

    1) My heart will always rule. i hoped and prayed that hatton would beat pbf, i knew he wouldnt but didnt stop me hoping.

    without passion, boxing is nothing.

i dint say all, i said the majority.

if khan laces up vs pacman, damn right ill be cheering him on and hoping he somehow wins.

and as for thinking with ya head, you can talk, the amount of hate ya spew makes me wonder if ya even like the sport.

look mate its world cup season, 4 weeks of football and

In terms of what he could do in a boxing ring Roy Jones Jr is top 5.

What you call hate i call being realistic instead of being a delusional fanboy who can see no wrong in your favorite fighters.

And spare me that **** about not being a fan of the sport just cause i dont think someone like Floyd isnt the best thing since sliced bread doesnt mean i dont like the sport, unlike you i follow the sport you just follow a few fighters and overrate them to no end like you did in this thread.

yup, to estaban dejesus (a lightweight champion in any other era) but yeah in the end, roy struggled with a lesser fighter which happens (as many posters have said). if he had fought, let's say in spinks, moores, charles era he'd probably lose to the odd fighter but overall beat more legends than he'd lose to and his stock would go way up
