Yes you're a fanboy one only has to read this thread and your "I will support haye no matter what" thread to come to that conclusion.

And it doesnt have anything to do with Roy being rated high i never said he doesnt or that he isnt great its about you acting like hes an unbeatable god that would walk over every fighter in history without being touched, and others agreeing with the **** you typed doesnt mean **** even Nallege has posters who agree with him.

Yea, Toney was so good he got beat by Montell Griffiin in his very next fight.

There were all those British killers who had bigger punches and werent lazy fat asses that had fought at cruiserweight that same year like Toney did.
No, Toney was not the best. At the time, some people thought he was, but hindsight is 20/20.

I give the same response to the guy that said Roy's resume is only short one person. He bolted from 168 just to avoid all those heavy hands that were currently roaming that domain. He bolted for 175 where the competition was slimmer, and the hands much lighter.

toney was top 3 at the time. hindsight may be 20/20 but it's not a delorian; it can't go back in time and change facts. jones destroyed the **** out of a top 3 p4p. calzaghe owned a weight lifing clown and kessler. woot woot, i'm impressed

no globenerd. Jones went to higher weights because he had to to find some competition. All the fighters he didn't face were Europeans and those Europeans thought Jones was too risky of a fight and had to travel over to foreign land. They didn't want the fight enough.

Look at Antonio Tarver after he tried and tried he finally got Roy into the ring with him obviously Roy was a little on the downhill by then but nonetheless he got him into the ring.

Roy didn't duck nobody. Except for maybe Lewis.

offers were made to every viable fighter at 168 except for DM who Hbo refused to put up money for. the only one to go into talks was hopkins, who ended up being a deuche. collins-check, benn-check, richie woodhall(big deal at the time i know...)-check

Ah Jones chin was not a concern until he killed his body coming back down from heavy ..His two ko losses came after his weight loss ..I mean Tarver had 3 fights with the man and dropped him once ..

His lost to Johnson was no diffrent than say how Calzaghe beat him..The diffrence is against Joe he put up more of a resistance against Johnson he did nothing for 9 rds ..Plus Johnson hit much harder ..

That's also no diffrent than what Manny did to Oscar ..Where was his resistance when he fought Manny at 147 ? If Jones had a weak chin than any fightert who fought past their prime should also have their chin in question !

    Jones/Hopkins Live Interview 02

Hopkins: Whatever the public demands, they can have. I want RJ, Roy Jones, pig-raisin', turtle-raisin' whatever he is that's who I wanna beat Larry. But if they give me pound for pound or pound for 2 or pound for 1, great come on wit it.

Larry: Alright, let's talk about the possible rematch showdown, there are two aspects. One is the money, Roy has stated his Light Heavyweight Championship is on the line, he's been a star for a lotta years he thinks he deserves more money, what is your response to that?

Hopkins: Well Roy Jones been eatin' a lil' bit more of that much dog food he been feedin' his pitbulls down in Pensacola, and it's startin to show on his brain. Roy Jones haven't done lately in the world of boxing to even consider himself pound for pound or even a superstar. Now Roy Jones Jr. can't expect to get more den Bernard Hopkins after da tournament.

Larry: Alright let's talk to you down there Roy. Roy give us your response to what you are hearing up here.

Roy: Uh, it sound like two cats that really don't know what da hell dey talkin' bout, to me......Did you here me?

Larry: Yes, I can here you Roy.

Roy: I said it sound like two cats dat don't have an idea what da hell dey talkin' bout to me.

Larry: Roy when you say you have earned the right to have the bigger share of whatever pot there is, uh you're going to stand by that. Is that what you're telling us?

    Roy: You damn riiiight

    Larry: Alright

Hopkins: Well dats a major problem already Larry, he set the stage right now you know the only person that can stop this is Ross Greenburg and the people at HBO because imma force Roy to get outta boxin' or imma expose him as a hypocrite to everybody.

Roy: Yeah, you do dat for me uh Bernard, that'll be very nice of you. You can probably take some good English classes and learn how to talk.

Hopkins: I'm ready, i'm ready, i'm ready. Hey Roy you thought i'd be gone by now but you know what it's been since '93 baby and beatin' Trinidad forced you to fight me. You didn't want Trinidad to fight me cuz you wanted an easy fight.

    Roy: Where did I.....(cut off)

Hopkins: But imma tell you Roy

Roy: Where did I think u was goin'?

Hopkins: I aint goin' nowhere unless I get assassinated

Roy: Where did I think u was goin'?

Hopkins" I'm not goin nowheer unless I get assassinated

Roy: Where did I think you was goin'?

    Larry: Alright, lets um.....(cut off)

    Hopkins: Hey, Roy

    Roy: Hey

Hopkins: The only thing you gotta do is tell the world right now that the best pound for pound fighters undisputeds are gonna fight each other at a reasonable, reasonable catch weight and we'll split 50/50 down the middle and lets do the fight by June. Come on Roy time to put up or shut up.

Roy: How we gon' split 50/50 when i beat you one time?

Larry: Roy let's talk about a reasonable catch weight, uh he uh Bernard weighed 158 for this fight, he's averaged around 158 for his last 4 or 5 fights. You weighed 172, you average around 173 for your last 4 or 5 fights. Can you cut the difference in half you move down around 7 pounds he moves up around 7 or do you demand some other kind of catch weight?

Roy: You know what, right now you know it's like I gotta guy in front of me dat I aint lookin' past dats 6 pounds heavier den me right now. I'm really too big for Bernard Hopkins. I beat Bernard Hopkins before with one hand. I mean you know whatever I can do dats feasible with a weight I can make i'll fight at. You know what i'm sayin', it's not like with me it's just that y'all try to peep da game.

    Hopkins: Hey Roy......(cut off)

Roy: He beat one fighter dat has a name.....(cut off)

Hopkins: Hey Roy, if you tellin' people.....(cut off)

    Roy: One fighter.....(cut off)

Hopkins: If you, if you tellin' people.....(cut off)

Roy: One fighter dat has a name, and dat's it......(cut off)

    Hopkins: You just said......(cut off)

Roy: After dat what else has happened......(cut off)

Hopkins: You, you just said u bigger....(cut off)

Roy: What else has happened? You know what i'm sayin? What else has happened?

Hopkins: Dis, dis da hypocrite about you....(cut off)

Roy: In every aspect of da word.

Hopkins: You, you just said this to every, to every to da whole wide world, dat you're bigger den, you just said right now to da whole world dat you're bigger den me...and, and so by you bein' bigger den me that should make it easy for you to wanna fight me.

Larry: You know at the end of the day, Roy and Bernard......(cut off)

Hopkins: I'm bigger den bernard Hopkins but I don't wanna fight him

Larry: This is gonna happ, this is gonna happen.....(cut off)

Roy: I never said I don't want to, i never said I don't want to. (Roy points the finger at the camera) The right split and your ass is meat, it's as simple as that, the right split and your ass is toast. You know I don't give a damn about no fight. ((at this time Larry is talking but Roy is talking over him))

    Hopkins: Talk is cheap

Roy: Well hey, i'm the champ.....(cut off)

Hopkins: Talk is cheap Roy....(cut off)

Roy: I'm the champ, i'm da Light Heavyweight Champ of da world......(cut off)

    Hopkins: WHO I AM?.....(cut off)

Roy: You wanna try me for my titles?....(cut off)

    Hopkins: WHO I AM?....(cut off)

Roy: You wanna try me for my titles? 60/40 get yo ass kicked.....(cut off)

Hopkins: If you da champ den WHO I AM?

Roy: 60/40 GET YO ASS TORE UP!

Roy: 60/40 YOU GET YO ASS KICKED!

    Hopkins: 60/40

Roy: 60/40 I KICK YO ASSSS!

    Hopkins: 60/40?

Roy: Well I kick yo ass!

    Hopkins: 60/40?

Roy: 60/40 I KICK YO ASS!

Hopkins: If you offer me....(cut off)

Roy: 60/40 I TEAR YOUR ASS UP, AIGHT! (Roy stand up and leaves the interview)

Hopkins: He don't wanna fight, he don't wanna fight.

Larry: You have a fight in front of you Roy, good luck in Miami, back to ringside.

Hopkins: Imma come down there and kill his roosters.

    Classic funny interview.

Watch some older fights and educate yourself. Really the lack of knowledge some people display is really sad.

Speaking of Woods what was the consensus on him as a fighter and his chances against Jones prior to their fight in the UK ?
