Why did HOPHINS duck Calzaghe?

    He was offered chance to fight in america and offered millions (much more than he would eventually get in his next few fights afaik). Yet he refused and DUCKED away, and now years later every calzaghe thread we get always has ppl saying calzaghe avoided him?
    Does anyone have anymore insight into this?

    You probally right, but you gotta admit its a fair point. Saying he ducked Glen Johnson or Woods and refused to fight Ottke are all vaild, but Jones didnt even register Calzaghe on his radar and Hopkins ran.

    :hi: Calzaghe would not of been a meg fight in America back then, its only post Lacey that the yanks stood up and took any serious notice.

    This Hophins kid sounds like a complete ***** to me. His brother should've toughened him up for his own good. Just my opinion.

    No, no, no,no your getting the wrong end of the stick. It was 'HOPKINS' who ducked Calzaghe, not his brother. 'HOPHINS' is known to step into the ring with just about anyone, including the very talented ATG Sugar Nicolai Valuev :yep
