Why doesn't hopkins get credit for knockin out tito?

He gets loads of credit for it, easily his best win IMO.

 

Only Calzaghe fans criticize his win against Tito, so I wouldn't worry about it too much mate. Those who watched that fight at the time are in the best position to tell you how great that win was.

 

i haven't heard much criticism of that win. that was a hopkins masterclass.

tito was a formidable puncher but he fell short against technically proficient fighters who had lateral movement and - or legit defensive skills.

loved watching tito fight though.

 

truthfully u can argue that hopkins never lost a fight apart from the roy jones and his fist professional fight

he drawed with clzaghe and taylor fights cud hav gne either way

 

hopkins was 40 and 40+ when he fought taylor and calzaghe.
it all comes back to this perfect world we could have in boxing if we just **** off the greedy federations and have one governing body.

it won't happen though.

 

because Tito wasn't a natural middleweight, Tito beat joppy cause joppy was alot shorter than tito and wasn't that good to begin with. Tito should've never moved up in weight.

 

That's the beauty of hind-sight, everyone becomes an expert. These same people (not necessarily you) apply the same though process to Pacquiao...

Have to fall in line behind the majority here, as far as i know Hopkins' win over tito is widely regarded as one of his greatest, and he's still the only man who ever got the ko against tito.

Now ofcourse, haters are gonna hate and every fighter has them, some more than others and Hopkins probably falls into the 'some' category there. And haters are always going too find a way to take away from a fighters accomplishments. Hell, if you want too you could even break down Ray Leonards resume and make it look like something less then what it is. I guess the people who do this have there place in the circle of life too...

 

Only Cokezaghe's legion of idiots don't give B-Hop credit for that fight.
