If Pac hurt Floyd like Mosley did, would he be able to close the show? I would say absolutely.

Big emphasis on 'if'. And Floyd covered up well, Pacquiao only landed at a 20% success rate on Clottey when he covered up the whole fight, what's to say his punches get through against Floyd?

Exactly, Floyd legs got a little rubbery for a few seconds, but his head was clear, and he had the mental wherewithall to cover up effectively, and the strength to tie up a bigger, stronger Mosley. It seems like people just don't want to give Floyd credit for being able to be effective even after, catching a big shot.

Did you watch the fight? :patsch Those 80% hit Clottey's arms, who FYI did nothing but put his hands up even though Pacquiao was practically letting him hit him.

IIRC corectly, Mayweather has been hit with bigger bombs than Pacquiao in the last fight.
Mayweather is nothing without his defence against someone like Pacquiao.

I hope for Floyd's sake that his legs aren't gone because Manny will hunt him for 12 rounds.

The reason I put Mosley before the fought is because if Shane could have Floyd hurt and Shane did not knockout Cotto or De La Hoya as Manny did, how will Floyd avoid being hut by the best offensive fighter on the planet today? I think it would be smart for PBF to avoid this fight as he has and stick to handpicking his opponents. I will always be baffled by Mayweather fans and I know I am in the minority. I just don't see how he can dominate the A level opposition if fighting in their prime with his style. His speed alone is superb but not enough because of his offensive style. Manny has the better offense, the better chin, the better heart and maybe can match his best asset - speed.

    Floyd will beat Manny.

    Why?

Because he will pop the straight right out all night long.
