what makes you think adamek was drained...he got his ass handed to him fair and square and probably moved up because he knew that as long as chad dawson was in the division he'd never be the man at light heavy.

Dawson's resume is superior IMO. The Adamek win was a good one but the Glen Johnson's was equally as impressive. Those two wins are superior to anything on Erdei's resume. Johnson may have a lot of losses but he is a high level fighter who recently knocked out Yusaf Mack, the guy who beat Chris Henry, who in turn knocked out Garay in one round.

What one win over a fighter who had been run close twice by Briggs is better overall than having 11 world title defences with Gonzalez coming off a big win, Sahnoune, Ulrich etc and then going up to a higher division to win a another world title in another weight, when not fighting at that weight.
Not sure about that as an overall

Damn! I didnt even know all this about Henry and Garay. So wouldnt this make it even more of a no-brainer for Bad Chad?

I dont know if he was drained or just lost too much weight, but in that fight he was sick. You probably dont know this, but after the weigh-in he ate a lot seafood (he was very hungry becasue of the wieght-losing) and had diarrhoea a night before the fight. Why do you think Adamek moved up to CW and is a contender at HW? 175 wasnt his natural weight. Its possible that he knew that even being healthy he doesnt have a big chance against Dawson at 175, so he moved up to his natural division (200 pounds).

There is nothing interesting about this. I opened it thinking it was going to be a joke. Any time Gonzalez is the first name on a fighters resume that tell you that it sucks. Forget Dawson, Erdei resume is right about were Tavoris Clouds resume is at. That would be a decent conversation. This was is WEAK as hell because its not even close:patsch

Erdie got his ass kicked by Garray twice and got 2 home town decisions, everyone else on his resume don't amount to much, whats the second best name? Gonzalez? HE lost wide to Woods, who lost wide to Tarver, who lost wide to Dawson...........

Gonzalez had only lost at the time to R Jones, no shame in that, and at the time Erdei beat him, Gonzalez was coming off a massive away win against DM, a long reigning LHW champ who had a claim to all the LHW belts and had some good wins

Soooooo....I was right in my 1st post? Put down the Haterade and take off your blinds. Dawson's resume >> Erdei's resume.

But not at the time when Erdei beat Gonzalez, he had only then been beaten by Jones and was coming off a big away win

Dawson by a country mile. Not even close. Johnson twice when Johnson is still dangerous and challenging for yet another title. Tarver twice against a guy who always does great in rematches. Adamek (nuff said) and if you're gonna give Erdei credit for guys like Garay, Sahnoune and Ulrich then you gotta give Dawson credit for retiring Harding who I feel beats all 3 of those dudes at the stage he fought Dawson. Oh and now Dawson's fighting arguably the 2nd best and most dangerous lightheavyweight in the world in his next fight in Jean Pascal.

I don't get how you discredit Dawson's wins over Johnson and Tarver, both have huge KO victories over RJJ, and if there's no shame in losing to RJJ (like you said about Gonzalez,) then where are the ****in props for beating the man? Sure they are older, but still world class opposition. Dawson is definitely the truth @ 175. After Pascal, you definitely couldn't hate anymore.

I havent discredited, just pointed out facts, and I dont hate, just point out that they were also around 14 years older than Dawson

You're clearly not seeing the point. You only bring out facts that discredit Dawson's resume, and you bring out facts to bolster Erdei's resume. Yours is a broken discussion that shows bias.
