Did I say Marquez wasnt a major force? Marquez is one of my favourites, he is great. But as I said, if Floyd beats Pacquiao bad, people will start doubting how a guy who lost at least 2 fights (at least one of the Marquez fights and the morales fight), and ducked Marquez for a third fight, get fighter of the decade? You see my point?

I disagree. Why do they have everything to lose? If you lose to the best, then you are not the best but you can still be better than anyone else. If Pac lost to Mayweather, nobody would doubt his wins over Cotto, DLH, Hatton, Morales ect Floyd would just prove that he is the best. Now if Pac lost to Clottey for example that would be a big loss for him and would take him off of p4p lists.

Because Pacquiao almost lost 3 fights in the decade, and people will start to think why Floyd didnt get FOTD when Pac lost so many fights, and ducked Marquez for a third fight.

Let's assume Pacquiao didn't deserve the fighter of the decade award for 2000s, so who in your honest opinion deserves it?

Don't tell me it's Floyd coz it's hilarious.

I never said Floyd desurved it, Pacquiao truly does. But as I said before, if Pacquiao get his butt kicked against Floyd, even you will be doubting if Pac desurved FOTD when losing to Marquez and Morales.

2-3years ago, people even doubt pac would beat someone at 135 with the abilty of juan diaz. now that he is about to fight floyd, people will think that all he has done the past decade especially the last 2 years of that decade is not especial just because floyd beats him.

back then this fight was too imposible just because floyd was the 154 champion while pac struggled to win the 130 title. now losing to the naturally bigger and better skilled floyd will devalue pac's accomplishments? i cannot comprehend this reasoning.

right now, floyd would still be the favorite to beat pac so pac losing is just the normal thing. it will not erase what pac has done and the risk he took back then is much greater than the risk floyd took not mentioning that while pac was fighting the top welters, floyd is just happy retired.

"Floyd beating Pac in 2010 makes no difference to LAST decades best fighter"

    ^^^^^^^
Of course it ****ing does. It tells us that Floyd is better than Pac, and was in the 2000s, or vice versa if Pac wins. We're not talking about a fight in 2016 here, we're 6 months into a new decade. Stop living on technicalities, fruits.

If you can knock Hatton and Cotto out, make DLH quit on his stool, hurt Joshua Clottey, then you are not a small guy. He is physically just as strong as Mayweather, I dont know how he did it (and I really dont care if he on steroids or not), but a win for Floyd would be huge.

suga you keep talking about pacquiao ducking marquez for a third fight? pac wouldnt have achieved what he has now and wouldnt be the icon that he has now become from being a multi weight world champion beating hatton, dlh, cotto etc. if he fought marquez at 140 i think he would embarass him now. marquez had 24 rounds which he probably won the majority, unfortunatly for him he was put down 4 times which ultimately stopped him winning.

I never said he should fight him at 140, Im talking about ducking him after the fight at 130, he really should have fought marquez after beating david diaz, instead of fighting dehydrated DLH. Right now Pac would beat the crap outta Marquez, but prime for prime, Marquez always wins.

you can be a small man but beat bigger man just because you are great. there is a reason why he is being compared to henry armstrong. sooner he will reach his limit. it just ok if you are beating big very good fighters, but how about fighting a bigger great fighter like floyd? pac is expected to lose this one, floyd is expected to win this one. but still a great win for floyd if it happened, it just would not make pac less deserving to get the award back then.

Mayweather was never a big guy either, his best weight was at 130, so dont give me all that bull**** about Floyd being bigger. The winner is the better fighter. Cotto, Clottey and even Hatton are stronger physically than Floyd. Skills will win the fight, not who is bigger.
