Paddy boxed really well and so did Darren O'Neill. O'Neill was in with a class Russian and lost the fight but it was definitely a lot closer than reflected in the scores. Also, RTE's pundits are miles ahead of Sky, I have said it before, Dunne is a real natural pundit, good talker and gives excellent analysis.

lads im not a fan of Yoda Morriesy but again at least the are showing boxing!! if they get rid of Yoda who comes in??? they havent got the cash to hire a boxing specailist so we might end up with d4 lover Ryle Nugent, 200 year old Jimmy MaGee or your man Peter Collins! Have to say Dunne is good on the box... and we should lavish praise on RTE to try and get them to show more boxing!
Daragh Maloney, Con Murphy, Darren Frehill. Someone who will not pretend they know what they are talking about when they haven't a clue and try and engage the expert boxing panel and not talk complete bollocks while at the same time looking like Gollums lovechild
My Facebook group has come in for some criticism in this thread. Don't get me wrong, it's fantastic that RTE have shown highlights of these Championships and cover a good few fights on Pro Box Live. However, having Marty Morrissey commentating is disgraceful. Say what you will about RTE's standard of commentary/analysis of GAA, Rugby and Soccer, it is still FAR superior to that of boxing. Between Jimmy Magee and Marty Morrissey it seems boxing supporters have got the bum deal from RTE.
