no....at the time they saw Mosley as a live opponent the tougher opponent this from Roach's mouth....they didnt want anything to do with Mosley...Cotto barely got by Mosely but won a good fight....i didnt see anything that even remotely put Cotto heads and shoulders above him as we seen Mosley went on to destroy the same fighter who obliterated Cotto....Mosley was a live opponent well until he ran up against Floyd.

ontop of that they were obsessed with fighters not comming in the fight fighting at their ideal weight....not blaming Pac because they signed the contract however it is what it is a strategic move which benefits Pac and only Pac.

and before you clowns start whining about Floyd doing it too....i acknowledge that...thats why i said call a spade a spade...u knock Floyd well i dont see how u cant knock Pac for doing the same thing.

you are the only one knocking pac here. i am just basically saying pac is the naturally smaller fighter than floyd. and mosley basically offered 140 so you will be one of the floyd fans who would probably criticize pac for fighting mosley at 140 if he chose that over cotto.

I have a solution for all you pac haters.

    Stop ****ing watching him.
It's not hard to avoid watching a fighter.

Pac vs JMM....people wanted to see that match..hell JMM was chasing his ass!

and yea there were a few who gave Pac no chance but i remember quite a few saying before the fight Oscar would look terrible at 147....and guess what he did.

You are confirming my point because you keep saying Mosley at 140 is easier than Cotto at 145. When clearly at 147 they pose a similar threat but when you ask Mosley to come to 140 you take the Cotto fight as tougher because he didnt have to come down to 140. You havent even seen Mosley at 140 but your hunch is it would be an easier Mosley...so i ask you how is this not the same with Oscar having to come down to 147 after 8 years out of that division?

JMM vs Pac was the better fight to take...HOWEVER...i woulda chased the money too....oh wait Floyd does that too...geez guess they have a lot more in common then you think.

nope cus nothing suggests he wouldnt clean Cotto's clock afterwards....i never make a big deal out of weights but when people turn a blind eye to Pac's bullshyt but try and call out Floyd....i simply state the obvious...then people get all upset and carried away now im hating on Pac or a floydie but all i did was bring up the double standard

have acknowledged Floyd's shyt from day one...can you acknowledge your boy Pac's?

Don't put words on my mouth, I didn't mentioned Mosley on this thread.

So you think PAC-JMM 3 (done right after the David Diaz fight) will outdo the PPV buys of PAC-Hoya?

PAC gained more recognition and praises by humiliating and retiring a heavily favored boxing legend in Hoya. So PAC did the right thing in answering the challenge of heavily favored Hoya.

i somewhat criticized floyd for retiring instead of facing cotto back in 2008 but i realize that sometimes you needed to rest or retire. just like pac is saying now that this would be his last fight.

now please what do you think are pac's ****? mostly that i heard were just pure hate fabrications from floyd fans or floyd himself. and please don't tell me about roids or a-side meth stuff. the only way i can criticize pac is having the fight with cotto a title fight. but 145 imo is just fair considering pac only weighed 138 in his last fight and cotto weighed 146 in his last fight prior to that fight.

LMAO...u know what.....thats my bad u didnt say that.

Oh no doubt like i said i would have chased that money too....also they chose not to fight Mosley because there was no money....all im saying is...and too the most reasonable Pac fans they see this too....BOTH Pac and Floyd have the same tendencies....they were hungry at the lower weights early in their careers...as the progressed they became more selective and wanted bigger chunks of money....NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS!

precisely, why I think some of these pac haters harping on jmm 3 are a bunch of whiny idiots.

pac gave jmm 24 rounds to defeat him, yet got his ass firmly planted on the ring 4 times.

pbf on the other hand has been avoiding legitimate threats.

Even a Pacfan can't say there was a clear winner in the Marquez fights. Pac scored the KD's, Marquez won more rounds. The styles basically canceled each other out. A 3rd fight is pointless because JMM can't handle the weight like Pacquiao has.

Now which threats is Mayweather avoiding? You can't use Maragrito or Cotto as they fight for Arum. Both PAC and Floyd fight whoever brings in the most money.
