Just saw the fight a few minutes ago...Some vintage moves by crocop...Got caught twice but handled the situation...Pat Barry was lost each time the fight went to the ground but he definitely brought his game in the striking department...

Loved crocop's side-kicks , axe-kicks...and nice combos near the end of the 3rd round.

And it's rare to see two fighters who have so much respect for each other. (i don't think i've ever seen anything like it in the ufc...both guys were hugging each other at one point LOL )..

I was surprised because in his last few fights , Mirko has been fighting "scared"...surviving instead of fighting to win....But at least he was way more active than usual here..

I still think that booing and the crowd bothers Mirko. He doesn't thrive under those circumstances. He is not a badguy and doesn't like the hostile crowds he is fighting best when the crowd is behind him or atleast cheering NOT booing like they usually have done to him.

Dude, i was there, the crowd loved him and he obviously was energized by the crowd. its the only reason he fights.

No **** that is what I am saying and it was obvious why he performed so well. With that said watch his other UFC fights, he was booed and the crowd was generally hostile, maybe not towards him but just hostile compared to what he was used to in Japan.

  10. mirko is a really decent man and very humble too.

i'm sure that pretty much everyone here has seen this video, but just in case someone hasn't, it highlights the kind of man that he is.

Been a Cro-Cop fan for many years. Loved to see that he won last night. The Truth is at this point in Cro-Cops career He is going to only beat the PB of this world. If he steps up, he will get beat.

There was alot of repsect in PRIDE amongst fighters and CC really revelled in that. The only genuine hatred was between him and Wanderlai. Wandy said alot of juvenile **** and said stuff like he hated CC. When they first met you should see the staredown. The rematch was essentially what CC wanted to do to him the first time they met.

When i saw Barry was 248 i knew he wasnt serious. There was alot of respect but 248 is a joke for a guy who's barely 5ft 11.

IMO Berry could have stopped Cro Cop if he wanted to in the first round but preferred to idolize the guy and just lost it. I was like WTF aren't your here to fight? The guy was definitely missing the killer instinct. I can't remember I've seen anyone back off the knock out when someone was as visibly hurt as CC was in the first after the second knock down. You could even see the ref was ready to stop the fight should have Berry followed up the knock down with an assault.

Cro Cop did well. He seemed in good shape, he was letting his hands go, showing us versatile kicking and didn't fold mentally. Pat showed him too much respect and gassed. Simple as. Pat wanted to touch gloves and hug every few minutes. He was in awe. This was clear pre and post fight.

Right leg - hospital, left leg - cemetery!
