Let's be real here, McCloskey is a genuine 140lb fighter with good skills who can hurt Khan so this fight will never be made.

Until Amir Khan grows a pair of stones this fight wont happen...pick a day and Paul will destroy Amir. Amir knows this only too well...thats why his camp are calling out lightweights he has no intention of fighting, instead of the European champion in his own weight division that wants to f

your pretty niave if you think Khan picks the fights and has no stones:lol:, it would probably sell well in Ireland but it would not do much here and certainly wouldnt in the States.

On a side note i doubt Khan is shivering in his boots after watching McCloskey on friday, if anything he would be licking his lips after seeing how average McCloskey was, what an earth makes you think he would beat Khan, for every punch he would throw Khan would come back with five:good

Dom, you are pretty naive if you are judging McCloskey solely on that performance and as we all know it only takes one punch to have Khan doing a jig :good

naaaaah, your pretty niave if you dont take into consideration Khans struggle to make weight and the massive gulf in class between Lauri and Khan:good

McCloskey wouldn't beat Khan in a million years. I'd love it if he could but put nationalism aside, he isn't good enough to do so.

Khan has a weak chin, struggling to make weight doesn't cause this it only accentuates it. If a blown up Michael Gomez can put Khan down (even taking into account the struggle to make weight) then a genuine lww with power like McCloskey can certainly get the job done. You keep bringing up Lauri but that was McC's worst performance so if we are going by that alone then let's judge Khan solely on his 54 seconds against Prescott.

That's a ridiculous statement to make, any lww in the world who has decent skills and power has a chance against Khan.

The uppercut in the second round would have put Khan to sleep and the right hook from the 11th would have sent him to the cemetry!!!

I like Amir Khan but he is increasingly looking like a bit of a joke ducking his mandatory, paying him off to"step aside" calling him out when he knows hes injured, then calling out ligh

    What are you talking about?

Maidana can tell the WBA right now that he wants to fight Khan and it would HAVE to be on.

And calling out lightweights? When did he call out a lightweight? There was talk of him fighting on yes, but give me a quote where he actually called one out.

And scared to go through with Katsidis? :patsch Read the news man. Seriously. Katsidis demanded a lot to fight Khan that's why it didn't happen. Nor with Murray because of the money.
