So.... what's the point of having it at 147?

Because 147 is a recognised weight group that boxing uses?

Must be a mistake. Try watching the Pac-Morales fights, I recall Pac had the longer arm length against Morales. Floyd has a 3 inch arm length advantage over Pac.

Is that a definitive answer or is it a question? It seems you start to doubt your point.

147 is not a weight group. It's the welter limit. The weight group is from 140.1 to 147.

PAC and Floyd can fight at a weight they're comfortable with and agree upon. Definitely they can fight at 146 without problems.

There's no problem at 146, right?

So Pacquiao had a weight and reach advantage over Morales?

Going by Puga_ni_nana's opinion then Pacquiao shouldn't get as much credit since he beat a smaller man?

I'm ok with the choice wish they got in the ring in 09 to duke it out and decide it but it didnt happen

I would say floyd all the way but he retired during that time manny (who had been good all decade) suddenly sprung to new heights and stardom in a matter of 3 years and surpassed him

Had Floyd continued boxing he would get it in my book but he stopped

What prevent PAC and Floyd from fighting at 146?

    It's an answer.

You fight in a limit to the weightclass and in this case it's at welterweight with a 147lb limit, since a catchweight won't benefit either either boxer then having a catchweight is an irrelevant point unless you want to see one for the sake of having one.

Would Mayweather agree to one? I think he would if concessions were made his way for doing it, the same way as he agreed to pay $10 million for every lb he came in overweight as he wanted the blood testing as part of the fight, you have to give a bit to take a bit etc.

However he's not going to give it away for nothing as he has no reason to.

I leave this at this point. Your reason is very lame.

    - PAC would love to have it at 146 since he's the smaller boxer.
    - No concessions will be made to Floyd if it's at 146 since no one is giving an advantage to the other at that weight.
    - There's no valid reason(s) that the fight can't be made at 146

In that 3rd fight, Pac was heavier. Credit goes to Pac not just for beating Morales, but for utterly destroying him like no other fighter has done.

You can not ask closet Pac lovers not to watch Pac fighting.

With the amount of threads started by Jacory harris, Nallege, and the posters you perceive to be pac haters on Manny Pacquiao, you can only conclude one thing :

They are Boy George wannabes singing "the more you hate, the more you love"

And the more hatred post you read actually just manifest their closeted love for Pac, they are just in denial stage. I bet they watch Pac more than they watch Mayweather!
