    Any thoughts, comments, or sentiments?

I am not one to complain or make excuses but the Klitschkos and Audley Harrison are way bigger than David Haye(!!!)? What if Audley lands one lucky punch and knocks Haye out. It seems there could be reason for a SHW division.

I asked this question 4 years ago (here) & everyone just seemed to laugh about it at the time.

I bet some are prob leaning towards it a bit now.
    BTW, I'm still for it.

Only all-time great superrheavyweight we've ever had is Lennox Lewis. So until enormous men start dominating the the heavyweight class for years I say NO!

They dominate the division because of mediocre competition. The Klitschkos are simply some of the biggest men in a string of worthless bums and that's why they dominate... besides, a smaller opponent like Calvin Brock gave Wlad a much more competitive fight than another superheavyweight bum like Tony Thompson didn't he? And there's still the lingering possibilty that a ****ing cruiserweight like David Haye could beat both Klitschkos with his athleticism.

Smaller all-time great heavyweights like a prime Holyfield or Tyson would run wild over this current lackluster era :deal and as long as I believe that I see no need or a seperate division. :bart Prove to me that several big men can be dominant in a good era like Lewis was and then I'll take a superheavyweight division into consideration.

I don't know about any IF stuff..
Just the fact that at one point last year we had 3 world champ's over 6'5 at the same time.

Mediocre or not, How is that the Klit's fault?

Who said it's their fault? If they could somehow prove their dominance in a great era like the 90's or 70's heavyweights of the past then you'd have me considering that a seperate division might be necessary... but as long as they're whiping out coward opponents that proves nothing! Especially if a former cruiserweight like Haye happens to end up beating both of them which would just strengthen my point, not yours.

Your entire Post is a "What if".

    There is no time machine...
& Haye is not even close to proving he could beat either of the Klits.
The truth is alot of work would have to be done to make a SHW division.
(But if the trend continues maybe it should be given some thought)

Combination of Cruiser & Heavyweight might be one way.
Who know's, It prob might not ever happen regardless.

They can only fight who's in front of them. They can't help what era they fight in.

    I say no.

Because I'm stubborn and like it the old fashioned way when it comes to the Heavyweight divison, being THE heavyweight division, and nothing above it weight wise.

There shouldn't. If you want to be consider one of the best of all times like Ali then why there should be a superheavyweight division? If that's the case then fighters like Haye, Povetkin and so on in the future won't be consider themself to be one of the best top 10, top 20, top 30 of all times cause they can't beat fighters that are way bigger then them.

so i guess what you really want is a "special division" for davey

    the Hayemaker division?

If Haye cant handle the HW division... let him go back to CW
