Why can't a line be drawn under the 'concrete gloves' scandal?

Just saying which win on Cotto's resume can compare to a win against Sergio Martinez?

He normally just comes off as a Rockgloves fanatic. That post, however, looks more like flagrant trolling.

No, you said that single win trumps Cotto's entire career, but I'm done feeding that nonsense. Clearly a wind-up post.

Yep...I don't get how people can defend him. I highly doubt he had this illegal substance added to his wraps his whole career...so you will notice if your hands are being wrapped differently. Then you lie about it?

What makes it even more sickening is the fact that there is a possibility he could have been using the same substance in his wraps to train and prepare for the bout. If so, Margarito and his trainer should be arrested...never mind stepping in the ring again.

Not any more frightening than close-minded people would rather convict someone on suspicion rather than facts merely because it fits his agenda!

I feel that that cheat is just to dangerous and that Margarito should be banned for life. Boxing is dangerous already.

It seems like boxing wants to allow illegal tactics.

Steve "USS" Cunningham was losing every round in their world title match in Germany last week. Troy "The Boss" Ross was in complete control, despite clashing heads early in the fight, where Ross showed some puffiness around his left eye.

In the fourth round, the fight started opening up and Ross knocks down Steve Cunningham. It was only 10 seconds later, when a lazy Cunningham punch gouged the right eye of Ross, ending the fight only a minute later.

There definitely has to be a rematch, but it seems like Steve "USS" Cunningham is avoiding Ross and wants nothing to do with him. I can't blame him, but this is not ethical. If this fight took place in the USA, it definitely would have gone to the scorecards and Ross right now would be the current IBF Cruiserweight Champion.

One only has to look at the tapes to see that the punch Cunningham threw only connected with the thumb part of this glove.

Cunningham would have got knocked out!

Why doesn't the IBF demand a rematch?

    Right.

Those entertaining the thought of reasonable doubt based on the fact that there is absolutely ZERO evidence against Margarito vs Cotto are clearly being the irrational ones here.

    Rubes:lol:
