I believe they said they may have to stop doing it. Lack of funds possibly?

I agree, it was a great idea and was executed very well - lets hope they do come back.

  8. Hey guys, thanks for the interest. The site is on hold at the mo, probably indefinitely, for a number of reasons. Other than a photographer friend taking the photos, it was just me doing it all and that was on top of my usual work so it was a lot of work arranging shoots, filming, editing, designing/managing the site etc etc. The more prospects we profiled, the harder it was to keep the site up to date.

I basically started it hoping to persuade the powers that be at my work to invest in it or seek sponsorship and we got over 40,000 views for a video of Chris Evangelou who'd had only 2 fights at that point and thousands of other views for our videos with George Groves and Ronnie Heffron and Tony Bellew and I think that proves the idea both works and is beneficial for the boxers, which was my aim. But other than the initial money to start it, there's been no support and to be honest very little interest from the guys at work. I may be in the wrong place, trying to convince the wrong people but its like banging my head against a brick wall, and having done that much work, you can understand me being a bit angry/disappointed/disillusioned.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to hear them, it was great getting to meet and film some of the top prospects in the country and I hope I can do more in some way or other in the future.

    Cheers,
    Dave.

Why not approach the promoters themselves? Get them to pay you to profile their fighters on all the forums/ facebook etc. Not sure they'd do it like- but they'd do well to.
