OMG, Naz was 27 and undefeated. By all rhyme and reason that was best he was ever going to be. He made a living off beating up B level fighters and got school by an ATG. Morales, Marquez and Pac would have done the same to Naz if not worse.
Just not a Hamed fan. I thought his best win was McCullough. Retired after only 10 years. He lacked the fundamentals and would have been allot better if he had them.
Yeah that's true, he got too cocky for his own good, relied on punch power alone and Steward really messed with his style. MAB put on a ****ing clinic though, I rate it as one of his top 5 wins. Saying that, I love Naz, he made me a fan of the sport as a kid and yeah, I miss the pure excitement of a Naz fight night.
Naz on his best night would beat MAB Agree most of it is his own fault that he wasnt as good as before, anyone who followed Naz career knows that wasnt anything like his peak, infact he wasnt close to his best for a while before that.
He may not have been the best but he put on a better show than any fighter in my lifetime. And anyone who thinks that was a prime Hamed that fought Barrera is deluded.
No it wasnt, but Hamed only has himself to blame. His arrogance led to Ingle leaving, the only man that knew how to deal with his awkward style. Suarez and Steward were absolutely dreadful with him. Check out his bout with Paul Ingle, Hamed won despite horrendous advice and training by Steward b/c of Hameds ridiculous power. Hamed took a lot of punishment that bout.
He was an obnoxious little twat, the only thing i recognize as extraodinary about him was his power for a Featherweight which was freakish.Other than that i hated the way he belittled and mocked his opponents. All that posturing, posing and bad habits finally caught up with him when he fought a proper fighter.
he beat every title holder in his division! most by kayo! ye he lost to mab, but mab lost to pac dont make him shite does it? mab also lost to junior jones! you are a hater end of
It's common knowledge that Naz didn't train for Barrera, and that his best-ever performance was six years prior. He was getting beating up by sparring partners at 5-star hotel lobbies in training for Marco, and smiling about it.
