Rampage Jackson demands a rematch against Forrest Griffin

I think this is a really good fight for him now.

 

Okay, I'm far more annoyed then anything with that interview. Who the hell is he to talk about Forrest disrespecting him? That's complete nonsense! Utter bull****.

Forrest was complimentary of Rampage. Nothing Forrest did was anywhere near "over the line". Did he get defensive over his victory (Yes, I thought he won, too. It's actually fairly obvious if you're being objective and don't have this nonsensical view of, "To be the champion you have to beat the champion.")? Probably, but ****, I would be too! He busted his ass to even get a chance at that fight and even moreso to train for it. He fought his best and won. He won. He did the best throughout the fight and came the closest to finishing it (twice).

And, with all that in mind, Rampage has the audacity to be upset with Forrest? After that little tirade he gave on Forrest during the UFC 114 Conference Call? If anything, Forrest should be livid! "Forrest ain't nobody! I didn't even train for Forrest, brah!"

Get. The. ****. Out! That's nonsense.

 

He'll get beat again, worse this time.

Let me make that clear, Forrest, yeah Forrest Griffin would beat Jackson easier this time. Now hows that for some perspective.

 

IMO Rampage won the 1st fight. Would still be good to see him in again with some one more on his level.

 

By doing what ? Landing a KD in the first round (wasnt 10-8 because he got his ass kicked otherwise in that round) and having his legs kicked in, nearly choked out multiple times, outworked, mounted for 5 full minutes.

 

Rampage will be leg kicked into submission.

 

That would be lovely. Thing is I cant stand Forrest hes such a douche I mean crying after being KOed Jardine was one thing but then running away after the Silva fight :-( Im really hoping for a Forrest-Franklin fight and Franklin whoops his ass.

Rampage does best when someone stand in front of him and tries to slug it out (Silva, Liddell) but not so much when the guy moves and can stay out of punching range either on the outside (Griffin, Jardine) or on the inside (Evans). I'm not at all surprised that he wants Griffin (Thiago Silva would be another smart fight) because he sure as hell doesn't want Machida.

Griffin by decision, again.

 

What's surprising is nobody has really gone after his legs like Forrest, and I don't know why.

I'm going to assume that I don't know as much about gameplanning a fight as fighters/coaches, so there must be some reason it isn't happening.

Are people afraid of his punches? Reasonable I guess, but still, throw some leg kicks.

 

I believe Rampage when he says he didn't train for Griffin. I don't really see much anything special about Griffin either.

 

I didn't really care for Forrest too much either after his post fight pitty party. I've always liked Franklin.. Hopefully Forrest has a quick recovery and the two have a go.

Definently. To be honest, I haven't seen his fight with Forrest since it happened. I got his fight with Shogun where he was completely shut out. After taking that partial headkick.. Rampage was limping around seconds before he is TKO'd.

Styles make fights and I'm sure Franklin with his exceptional stand up would handle Rampage. The man has some pretty good kicks. Shogun's knees were what dropped Rampage and Franklin's clinch ain't half bad either.

So many matchups to be made.. This sport is really starting to grow on me fellas :thumbsup

 

There's rumors that Rampage and Machida will square off at 119.

 

I believe he had a leg injury for that bout.
