Andre Ward .::vs::. Allan Green

Rumors are going around that this fight my be in jeopardy. Details to come...

 

If that's true, this officially makes it the biggest joke of a tournament I've ever seen. Most of these guys will be past their primes by the time this is done. They should just call it off and let these guys make the matches on their own. That would bring Bute into the mix as well.

THe Headbuts from Ward come from him Switching back and forth from SouthPaw to Conventional... He has shown to be a lil reckless with his head but the Kesler Masacre was more a clash of styles as well as a clash of heads.. Green Gets knocked the **** out.. you heard it here... Ward said he is looking for 3 points.. that pretty definitative from a pretty humble guy.. Im sure he is tired of all that **** Allen Green has been selling about beating Ward, knocking him out, or speaking his language.. Fact of the matter is Ward will sit down on his punches and go to Work Expect a Clinic punctuated by a knockout...

 

Not full of ****. Contract issues. Both sides are being stubborn and threatening to pull out. I hope they can resolve it soon. Has to do with referee and money...

 

Green has made a career of pulling out of fights.

 

I agree. The same goes for Dirrell I mean the guy doesn't have a "crowd pleasing style" and slips alot but he's talented and seems like a cool dude I hold nothing against him. Also for people calling him an "actor", you mean to tell me the arguably hardest puncher in the 168 division couldn't knock out a defenseless person?

 

Ward refused to fight in the tournament unless he got "ALL" his fights in his home town! How did he get that? Why not the others? Green will be cheated! Ward will have his own personal referee and judges! His home town, commentators, etc. I don't blame Green for being angry. All of Ward's opponents will be cheated as well. Who gave him that advantage? What if ALL boxers refused to fight unless all their fights were in their home town?! No more fight period! Green will have to fight Ward and Ward's referee! Ward's ref allowed him to get by with the famous "Billy Goat" head butt, yes, Ward's ref believes that head butts are legal as long as they come from Ward. The Billy Goat punch came from across the ring! It was illegal,even Ward's commentators said that! Ward won from an illegal head butt! Green will have an uphill battle! Ward can punch low, head butt, elbow, cuff, you name it. Green will get disq. if he knocks Ward out. I guess Ward's personal ref will pick War up off the canvas and raise his hand! Enough it enough!

 

I've never seen either of these guys fight? what should I expect from each fighter?

I got 'courtside' not ringside seats this Saturday..

 

I would like to see that fight in neutral territory, a level playing field for a change.

 

Ward should win, but I would love to see Green knock him out.

Showtime cannot let this fight being postponed again. All the other boxers are waiting for Ward and Green. Usually, referee matters get solved. A cash matter involving Allan Green doesn't smell good though.

 

I also heard that ticket sales were not doing well at all. That surprises me since Ward's last two fights in Oakland did pretty well.
