Bradley doesn't want Alexander for small money, it maybe an out right duck, but at least hes going after the best - FMJ, Pac, Cotto - Khan doesn't want Bradley/Alexander full stop

 

It's still only his 2nd fight in the US, and is still only developing himself as a fighter. I'm content with a JMM matchup at the end of this year, as it'll be a worthwhile fight for him. However once this is out of the way, he must then begin fighting the tougher guys at 140. Failure to do this, will give me very little reason to defend him.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It's only conjecture at the moment, and it's not even certain JMM will be chosen as his next opponent

 

You expect him to unify the division over night? It was only a month ago he fought Paulie and publicly made those aspirations. Unifying a division is not a quick process, especially when the opponents needed to achieve this feat aren't available any time soon.

An important thing people need to realize, is that this 140 division has at least 4 people who can all become serious superstars. In fact, they could even become the next face of boxing. With this in consideration, do you seriously think the handlers of these guys will hastily rush them in to fighting each other now - when financial returns will be considerably low compared to what they will be down the road?

People like to view things through rose tinted glasses when it come to Khan....dunno why. I think he should be trying to land one of the other belt holders for his next fight, but should he take JMM and then a belt holder after, that is also fine.

This is someone who fought FM not too far back, lets remember that. As for Haye, don't even wanna waste words lol....i really hope it is a Klit next otherwise no one can defend him (though i wouldn't mind Adamek).

I've no prob with Khan aiming for those fights, he won't get them until he establishes himself though, same as Bradley won't unless he beats Cotto/Haitan guy, Bradley/Alexander have achieved more than Khan though

If they try to sell Khan as a viable opponent for Mayweather/Pacman after Marquez it will be a bit laughable as he won't be established

 

God STC, have you been reading the news, every tough 140 fighter is currently tied up fighting other people and won't be available for a fight until 2011, the whole division. They're all avoiding Khan because they're afraid of a career high payday. The only people brave enough to take the cash is smaller guys. It's like you don't even try to understand :-(

 

How have they 'achieved more'?

Bradley: Witter, Holt, Peterson.
Khan: Kotelnik, Malignaggi
Alexander: Witter, Urango.

Bradley has more title fights than the others, which you might want to give him the advantage for. It's not obvious why you would put Alexander's two wins over Khans. Actually you could make an argument that either of Malignaggi or Kotelnik that Khan fought would beat either of the Witter or Urango that Alexander fought. Witter when he was good and fit was lucky to beat Kotelnik.

 

Devon's Witter and URango wins are exponentially better than Khan's win over Kotelnik and the always garbage Malinaggi. It isn't even close, Devon and Timothy are classes above Khan.

 

Khan's clearly ducking everyone in the division because he's a coward. He wants to fight either JMM who is overrated and/or shot, or Juan Diaz who is a natural Bantamweight.
