    I'd say a win over Paul Samuels, that tough German bloke on the Haye vs Valuev card and Adamu is ****ing good for nine fights.

    It's at least as good as Amir Khan's first nine fights..... and way better than Ricky Hatton or Joe Calzaghe's first nine.

    I like the fact that they are thinking outside the box, getting him experience on big events rather than just using him to sell tickets.... and not fighting every journeyman from John O'Groats to Land's End before putting him in for a title.

    Feeding a lad some fodder doesn't achieve anything other than losing motivation, not working on skills and such - look at Jeffries, fights a load of Eurobums before being put in with Nathan King, who taught him a few valuable lessons.

    they are saying June 17th but nothing has been confirmed, your looking at a month before the show and no tickets.

    was it overly critical or slanderous? actually, don't answer that because then this thread will also get deleted.

    the FW policy on this site kind of reminds me of the AK policy on the Amirfans site :lol:

    hahahaha your funny you mate. you look like an absolute fool! this statement just shows how little you know about boxing.

    bellew is too slow??? how the hell would you know how fast bellew is? your an arm chair fan who clearly knows nothing.

    and as for bellews power being over rated. he is by far the biggest puncher at light heavy in the u.k by a country mile. his amateur record was 40 wins 32 by k.o. you tell me some one with a similar record whose power is over rated. also tell me some1 who leaves people unconscious in an aba final for over 10 mins. when is the last time you seen that in an aba final?

    before you say pro and am are different sports he has 9 stoppages in his 13 fights, i dont think that is over rated power do you. so have a word with your self in hte corner mate :hat

    i am a big fan of groves but i can guarantee bellew is a bigger puncher pound for pound than groves would you say groves power was over rated?

    people like you know nothing about nothing,
    every1 is entitled to there opinion but why talk total crap when you cant back anything you've said up :patsch:patsch:patsch

    to be fair to him;

    i have seen other posts from him and he has decent knowledge.

    Bellew is clearly not paticuarly quick in terms of movement around the ring.

    Bellews power is defiantly over rated. he has KO's but they have all been against soft opposition. Bellews power is not as high as it was in the amateurs as he has lost to much weight. At Cruiserweight we will see him taking guys out again.

    How can you guarentee that bellew is a bigger puncher than Groves. you has slated this poster for "talking crap he cant back up". how are you going to back this claim up. to me Groves punches look far more hurtful than Bellews.

    the bias shown by scousers on here is horrendous worse than the scots and irish.

    With regards to Bellew's power;

    - Stopped Ambler in his first pro fight - Ambler rarely gets stopped.

    - Went the distance with Bonson, who is incredibly tough, Bonson said he would have quit against Tony if it was a 6 rounder.

    - Went easy against Powers so he didn't damage his hands (fight 2 months later).

    - Broke his left hand against Rasani, went ahead with fighting Andrej with the injury - a fighter that has only been stopped once in 42 fights. Went the distance.

    - Dropped Okoth in every round, Okoth later said Bellew is the hardest puncher he has ever fought.

    - Decked the resilient Velecky in one round.

    - Hurt his hand against Oleme in the first round - just boxed him for the rest of the fight.

    He's a big puncher, no doubt about it.

    i am not doubting he is a big puncher but scousers are saying he is David Haye or Valero and he's not. there nothing to prove he is a bigger puncher than George Groves other than record......and groves has a higher KO percentage.

    its the same deluded bunch that are trying to call Paul Smith a big puncher.

    i am not doubting Tonys abilty, all i am doubting is the fact as current rate of progression he will not fight for a world title for 5 years
