Firstly i am not a pac fanatic, i just do not like seeing people bullied in this such manner, Pac has & all boxers fight & test within the governing bodies/commision rules, lax they may seem in consideration of this era's drug abuse. Pac was well within his rights to go tell Mayweather to **** off as he is not the King of Boxing. He is a participant & one that has made him extreamly wealthy & it's the popular concensus that Mayweather intends to feed deep for a few more years yet at the HBO $$$$ trough & that does not mean risking his unbeaten record against a dangerous foe such a pacquiao & the tried & tested way of getting out of a fight is to price yourself out or make any other outrageous demand & just because he can dos'nt make him right & Pacquiao wrong in saying NO as this is the way the French judicial system works as in the fact that once you are accused you are guilty & you then have to prove your innocence. That is not the way we do things in England or the United States as the US system is spawned from Magna Carta. This has come down to a clash of ego's & guess who has the biggest ego in boxing. We all wish that Pac had said YES & forced Mayweather into another defence/avoid mode but he was ill advised but correct in his stance that the Nevada commision rules & not Mayweather.
if the steroid era was really as fresh as you make it out to be, someone a hell of a lot more credible would have asked the questions about Manny than Mayweather Sr after his fighter got stretched in 2 rounds and Manny beat Cotto. Manny didn't handle the accusations correctly.I can't debate that. His camp gave conflicting answers and he should have just stuck with the psychological effect blood drawing close to a fight since he had an interview for historical backing when it came to that one. But before Mayweather Sr and Uncle Roger started publicly accusing him of that **** and the negotiations melted down the first time, Manny was simply a fighter winning 7 titles. Now he's a fighter who won 7 titles that some people think is on something because of two ****ing former drug users with prison convictions. His name was **** on to hype a fight and now people think Floyd is some crusader because his psyche out attempt of Manny has other people jumping on the Me Too bus and asking for olympic style testing.
Pac's name has always been clear, having passed all prior tests. It was unclear only to those who want to believe (or hoping) it was unclear. Usually these people are jealous of his accomplishments or at the least couldn't comprehend how he can do what he has done!
Check Botha and Toney after they were caught using PEDs. They looked fat and flabby and still used drugs. A display of strong vascularity or muscle tone says NOTHING about drug intake.
if one fighter chooses to drain himself, you could see that his face looks smaller. but if this fighter chooses to fight on a weight he is comfortable with, without draining hmself out, you could very well see the big difference,,, not just his body but also his face. pac's photos during his 130 days BEFORE the weighin would reveal that his face looks like it's been shrunk like a voodoo doll. it's because he's been dehydrating just to get in the desired weight. Try not to eat for days and you will see the effects.
People are stupid to think that anybody who is ripped with a shredded look is on drugs. Looking shredded with veins popping out does not come from steroids, it comes from careful dehydration, grueling cardio regimes and high protein, low carb, low salt diets.
If the illegal drugs rumours should be taken seriously, he should have been most suspicious not after the ODLH, Hatton and Cotto fights, but way way way earlier than that. His first ever fight in the US, at 122, against Ledwaba for the world title. In the Aisa-Pacific boxing circuit, MP was known as a fierce puncher and brawler, world class power, but had stamina problems, late in the fight, (it rarely went that deep, though) and had some problems dealing with body shots. Do people think he's been drugging up since 2001?
The jump to 122 was his first big step up in weight, at the age of 21 (I think) which was around 1999. He'd moved up from 112, after failing to make the flyweight in his bout against Singsurat. I think he'd been struggling to make weight for a while. After that, he moved through the divisions fairly steadily, over the course of around seven years. As I have seen pointed out elsewhere, during his time at Super Featherweight, Pacquiao's 'In Ring' weights grew to about 144/5 - at which point he made the move to Lightweight. But it wasn't so much gaining weight to do so - more cutting less weight. The whole Pacquiao size thing has been blown way out of proportion and it is quite likely that FMJ moved through the weight divisions faster than Pacquiao did.
