He 'sold' me too mate. Reckon he'll certainly give it a red-hot go.

But with no lead-in fights it'll take a near miracle to come away with a win IMO - puncher's chance?

Even if Briggs comes in good shape i think he'll still struggle come rd 7-12.

Yep i heard that too and it tells me one thing...Paul is taking this fight very seriously.
You can hear it in his voice that he's not just here for the paycheck.
I thought it was great when he said some leader of a gang in Coolangatta tried to make a bigger name for himself by punching on with Paul....i wonder if hes been released from the IC ward yet:yep

Thats a fair enough comment mate, but if Briggs past the 7th rd that will be longer than anyone else has gone with him since Dannys comeback.

That's how I see it too Beaver.

Green has tended to go for it early in recent times. But he may well take his time and try to gas Briggsy.

    Logically Briggsy's chance is early.

Yep he needs to get Danny cold either in the 1st or 2nd rds........ because Danny's got good whiskers and once the fight drags on the better his whiskers will get.

I think Danny's going to hurt Briggsy to the body and this will eventually force the stoppage.

As much as i like Briggs and despise Green i can't see any other result other than a Green victory :-(

Watched Paul do some light sparring last night. Hes definitely not just turning up for the payday. The match up is certainly looking a lot more intriguing in my eyes.

Also Paul will be on 6PR tonight at 7.20pm.

I call bull****, a guy like Tarver isn't going to come to Australia to be a sparring partner unless he has some other agenda.
