You gotta love Freddy. I hope the partnership between him and Chavez Jr steps up Jr's game because as of now, the kid in my personal opinion isnt good. I hear Omar chavez is the more naturally gifted between the two brothers. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWyAsn3OQHs[/ame]
What did you expect Freddy to say? "Oh my guy is a lazy ******** who can barely make a tight fist, and doesn't know what the hell he is doing". Roach is a great trainer, he isn't jesus. He can't make miracles happen.
Canello has a good chin and still has many years to grow as a pro. He was shaky in that first round with Cotto.
I was more thinking of current mexican fighters around his weight class who would beat the **** out of him. But your point still stands.
Chavez is definitley not his daddy, but the kid is technically very well schooled. He has shown some signs that mentally he may not have the kind of hearts that make solid champions. But he has the tools, skills and most important blood line that gives Jr. a great shot at reaching HIS full potential. I'm interested in seeing how Roach can help improve on what Chavez Jr. already has. I believe the kid is a future champion...How dominant I'm not so sure about, but I see him winning some titles down the road.
Agreed!:good But I do think that JCC Jr has got the potential to compete with either of the two down the road.....Well, depending on the final product Roach and Jr produce as they continue to work together.
Chavez and his inflated record.....Chavez Sr. always appears more embarrassed than proud while watching him fight!!!
his son wears ridiculous shirts all the time and giggles in spanish. probably serenades his antonio banderas poster with an acoustic guitar
