I seen a fighter in the UFC lose 20 pounds in 24 hours and he was that dehydrated that he could only sip bottle caps of water for 3 hours after weighing in.. Bobby something his name was..it was in the seris the ultimate fighter.. I swear over 20 pounds in 24 hours..:|

Eubank was a stone over with 4 days to go before he fought Benn, Jimmy Mc told me that.. He said he was there when Eubank got on the scales and was there at the after fight press coneference when Benn said I done the weight wrong, To which Eubank had the cheek to say "That is very unprofessional" Knowing he'd done the same..:rofl

Jimmy Mc told me he couldn't stop laughing..:yep

After the stories I've heard about him making weight I can fully believe that...:yep

What shocks me is that he never once moaned about it or used it as an excuse.. Amazing that and a true gentleman too!!:good

Eubank himself says he always finished sparring the day before the fight itself!? Andy Ayling also said something like that.

Because of the type of Man Nigel Benn was, at the time he hated Chris Eubank. Do you have any idea, how much motivation hate gives you..?

And Nigel Benn was a professional athlete, who at that time could not even entertain the thought of loosing to Chris Eubank.

I know these things happen in boxing, but i think its ****ing stupid and unproffessional when fighters at championship level do it.

For a fight with so much hype, and focus. I don't accept that Nigel Benn, went through his whole trainning camp...not checking his weight...?????

"He was fighting in the biggest domestic fight of all-time"

I don't beleave that he just woke up, afew hours before the fight and decided to check his weight for the first time.

    Its aload of ****..

    Chris Eubank kicked his ass..!!!

And i don't give a ****, what people have seen.

Weather you have seen guys loose, 10lbs, 20lbs, 6lbs...in whatever amount of time before the fight.

I think its ****ing ******ed and stupid.

    Really ****ing stupid.

Atberry, He sparred at camp with a lot of my lads, also He wasnt a good runner. I once saw Him running and a woman pushing a pram passed Him. What He did have was an amazing mind set, plus He is an amazing individual. Use to raid his eqiupment room for tracksiutes and training gear with His blessing, a very generous Man.

Eubank was just a lazy runner, he could or prob run faster if he wanted to. Chris Eubank never struck me as a unfit or out of conditioned fighter ever...!

Did he do allot of body weight exercises..? was he good at this form of conditioning..?

Kool, no more than the next man. His conditioning came from Sparring, it was intense no messing about Hard, He paid top Dollar for it.

Making weight and dieting are 2 different things. Sometimes you can try as hard as you like, but the weight just won't come off. Especially when your a lean athlete with low body fat and high cal output, your body doesn't understand why your doing what your doing and slows your metabolism down, so you get very little or no weight loss. 6lb is quiet a lot, but on the day at 9am is even worse. Believe me, it's not easy!!:good
