I've read somewhere that PAC is willing to accept less than 50% purse share just to make the fight happen. It's not known how low PAC would go and if this low figure is already acceptable to Floyd. Hope this will make the fight a reality.
Manny Pacquiao & Floyd Mayweather, JR Agree to Fight Signatures Only Thing Needed on Finalized Contract This content is protected June 16th, 2010 This content is protected Bad Brad This content is protected By Bad Brad Berkwitt The long anticipated fight between Manny Pacquiao, 51-3-2, 38 KOs and Floyd Mayweather, JR., 41-0, 25 KOs is a done deal with only signatures needed on the printed contract said a very reliable inside source close to Team Mayweather who has just contacted RSR. This inside source went on to say, Floyd is very happy that both sides could work out issues that he always felt could be talked out. Floyd is anticipating on making well over 50 million dollars with Manny making almost the same. Tentative dates being kicked around for an HBO PPV is the middle to end of November 2010 and if this does happen there is no doubt that this fight will be the biggest grossing in history. In recent articles, both Promoters Oscar De La Hoya and Bob Arum have thrown tidbits out that the fight was very close to being made which back up RSRs source as well. Arum, recently has been putting fights on in Stadium Venues with great success and the boxing public is craving for this fight to also be in a stadium which without any doubt will be sold out in hours! it should be 50/50 split if not 60/40 for mayweather. mayweather has never lost, he retired the pound for pound, only went to pac because mayweather left the game. mayweather has a unblemished record. he is number 1. he's only not recognized cause he's most hated..
:good, pac has the shittiest and most disorganized camp out of any fighter. It's like a circus show. I'll wait until Oscar, Schaefer, or Arum announce what's going to happen.
I dunno, Berkwitt sounds too much like Berkowitz, and I would never trust a Berkowitz, unless he was my lawyer or accountant.
If I see a report from ESPN or Yahoo sports I'll get excited but these kinds of websites have let me down before.
