Dawson vs Pascal

Dawson by a comfortable margin for me. Should see some cards of 117-111 or 116-112 or so. He simply does everything better than Pascal.

 

Dawson by decision. They are pretty even as far as physical talent, but Dawson is the much better boxer and technician in the ring. Pascal is a little sloppy with his technique at times. I got Dawson in a relatively easy 8-4 UD, but I hope Pascal beats him.

I feel Pascal is waayy over-rated.

I only wish that Pascal's shoulder is ok. If that's the case, Dawson won't have another quiet day at the office. Pascal is unpredictable and will make Dawson go out of his comfort zone. What will happen then? I don't know.

 

Pascal should have a bigger fanbase. The guy will fight to the death and will win even with a dislocated shoulder(he's done that before). He has a hell of a heart and what's not to like about him as a fighter? Yes he's sloppy but he's a fighter til the end and I respect that. He reminds me of Meldrick Taylor, another guy I'm a fan of who also would fight to the death. I will be cheering on both Pascal & Dawson because I'm a fan of both. Just look at what my location says lol.

 

Generally speaking, people in Quebec like humble, respectable and polite "heroes".

Like Eric Lucas, Lucian Bute & Maurice Richard (Hockey) for example.

We don't like arrogant people. And that's what Pascal was early in his career. He was calling himself the best boxer in the country before he actually did anything and he was saying he would beat Bute back when he was badly struggling to beat guys like Brian Norman and Omar Pittman. That didn't go very well with the boxing fans (who LOVE Bute).

 

I'm a huge Pascal fan and really dont like Dawson that much but I feel like yeah Pascal isnt an old guy and yeah he is fast and yeah he can hit I still dont think he has the speed to beat Dawson I see this as Dawson vs Adamek

Dawson will dominate inm technical fashion but will get dropped or hurt or have iot turn into a fight like Pascal wants but it will be too little too late and Dawson will turn it up late sorta like his first Johnson fight

 

If Dawson can establish his jab. The fight will be over.

Froch (not exactly Mohammad Ali) was able to outbox Pascal in the later rounds just by using his jab.

But there is also the possibility that Pascal could be able to lure Dawson in one of his wild exchanges and catch him with something big.

 

Thanks for the info:good. I'm a fan of both Bute & Pascal though I prefer Bute. I understand Pascal does seem like a ***** especially by what you just said and for some reason Bute just has that thing about him where it's very hard to root against him. I never want to see him lose.

I hope so, but I don't really believe it. I'm not really big on Pascal but his fights with the shark were a real nice display of what human will can do, props to him. For Dawson, I don't know, he's quick, skilled and pack a good punch, but god he's so lazy in a ring and seem to be an empty shell with no personnality, find it very hard to like him, this is why this fight is in MTL.......Dawson don't have many followers.

 

As a slugger he's pretty good but as a boxer he's not up there with the best in the sport.
