He barely used the jab against Marquez , and didn't do much with it against Mosley from what I remember. He uses his left for hooks, and the occasional jab to the body, that's about it. He doesn't throw combos, doesn't go to the body with power shots. His arsenal is pretty limited, but he's so fast and sneaky he gets away with it.
I assumed the thread starter made a mistake about referring to each boxer's best hand. That being PBF's right hand and Pac's left.
What fight did u see .. he used his jab a lot in his fight with marquez .. he jabbed double jabbed and he jabbed in front of the right hand ... and I know he has a better right than a left but the point of the thread is who's lead hand is better ... I figured it was obvious
No I hear that all the time mays right vs pac left ... I never heard the lead hand debate so I figured ill make a thread about it
This is dumb. He threw 316 jabs against Marquez, out of 493 total punches. He threw 210 against Mosley, out of 477 total punches. Thats 64% and 44%, respectively, of his total punch output. When half or more of your punches are jabs it's hard to say that you "barely" use it. Likewise, the punch he dropped Marquez with was a left "hookercut" that started low like an uppercut and came in under Marquez's outstretched arm. It wasn't a textbook hook in the least. He also throws the straight right to the body pretty often, throws the right uppercut, will dig the left hook to the body on the inside. About the only thing you're right about in the whole post is that he very rarely throws combinations anymore.
