Yeah, I don't get that either. If it were Golden Boy pushing the idea and Shaw shutting it down, HBO probably would take a more determined stance. As it is, GBP gets what GBP wants.

 

Khan doesn't want to be anywhere near a boxing ring that contains Devon Alexander. Why the hell would he leave it up to luck of the draw or something and end up fighting Devon Alexander?

 

Bradley wouldn't come within 100 feet of Devon Alexander. Shaw can try to put this on GBP all he wants but right now Bradley isn't even willing to prove he's the best 140lb fighter in his own country.

That's not the reason. It's because Shaw thinks "Two Americans should not fight each other" (Being Alexander and Bradley). Which just goes to show he's a joke. And Bradley won't even finish things up in his own division and wants the 'big fights' at 147 or 154, pfft.
