Interesting change of heart from Briggsy. On the DSS radio show he was asked if they'd talk the bout up at all, and he said 'no, no need to'.

Sounds like someone's suggested to him that they'll sell more tickets if he does talk it up.

 

If it was the WA press, they'd be carrying on like Green is Pacquio, at some point he has to respond. He really only said he's prepared and won't be gone in a round, which is fair enough and doesn't really make any brash claims.
I really hope he is good form, love to see him come back and have a few good fights. Not sure though what his plans are if he does win.

 

I think Team Green are not being as nice as they said they would and Briggs has got the shits is going to go all out bagging grenny

 

Put Angelo Hyder in any show & it soon turns into a **** fight. He's like a parasite that won't go away.

Regardless of who's to blame, or not to etc, it often starts out nice and turns to shite.

Remember how chummy RJJ & Danny were in their pre-fight build-up?

However, once Green cleaned Roy up they were mortal bloody enemies... cheats etc, etc.

 

Thats publicity for the fight that is going to sell more tickets and make green more money. There is some other things that are going on between the teams that might not be so chummy chummy and Team briggs might have the shits

 

Should be a good fight, I hope Briggs wins but hes been gone for a while I reckon in his prime he would beat Green

I'm really interested in what reactions will be after this fight. If its a war and green wins will everyone just say briggs was shot. Or if its a war and briggs wins will people give danny some credit for fighting a good fighter. I understand the criticism if green comes out and destroys him but ill be surprised if that happens. I'm expecting a war and good luck to both guys.

On a side note a past it RJJ is still a whole lot better than the shite that mundine has been fighting. Ndou said he'd step up as well in 2 weeks. surely that's better than another Argentinian?
