The only way (for a great fighter) to get Pacquiao to sign on the dotted line is to give him the impression that they're reluctant to fight him

We saw what Nazim Richardson said about the negotiations for Pacquiao-Mosley.

Pacquiao kept making wild demands, for example getting Mosley to drain down to 140lbs, Mosley accepted them all in a heartbeat and as Richardson said, Pacquiao thought to himself "This motherf**a wanna fight a little too bad" so Pacquiao shat himself and went for an easier opponent, which is the story of his career.

To this day Pacquiao has not proven himself the best fighter in any weight class.

Mayweather is very aware of what it takes to actually get Pacquiao to agree to a fight and is playing his cards to perfection. He was too eager to bend for Pacquiao during their first negotiating process, agreeing to a ridiculous "14-day cutoff" for bloodtesting even though every olympic athlete is fine with testing up until day of competition. Mayweather has learnt his lesson and as a result this fight will happen.

Pacquiao is all smoke and mirrors deceiving his way up to the #1 P4P spot.
Mayweather will reveal the truth that he is the most hyped up boxer ever, due to all the Filipino fans backing him up even though they don't know 1 ounce of boxing or the history of the sport.

oh cool.Pacquiao and Mayweather are fighting at the olympics? No?They aren't?
Oh well then i guess they don't have to subject themselves to randomized testing the way the olympic requires you to in order to compete. When you decide to compete in the olympics, you know ahead of time they drug test and it's required because it's the goddamn olympics. That's the group that makes the rules about their competitions.Professional boxing is not the olympics.stfu with that garbage.

Pacquiao just wants to seem like he wants all the big fights, but always ends up asking for stuff that will give him an advantage, (catch weight), but when it was mosley, knowing he was better than him, rejected the fight even when mosley agreed to all of them as OP said.

As well as him agreeing to a 14 cut off date AFTER Floyd said that he wanted to do testing all the way up to the fight. again making it seem like Manny always did want the fight. (*******s ate it up too.)

Hey dude its called negotiation. Theres nothing sad about it, this is a business deal in addition to a prize fight, so the negotiation process is a big deal

Funny how Pac fans are so excited that this fight is on the verge of being made and the Floyd fans are still very bitter.

Im sure you *****s would be jubiliant that the fight didnt get made cause Floyd wanted above 50% and would defend it to the bone. Just goes to show who wants this fight more.

At the time Pac was still considered a small guy, he didn't reject Mosley cos he thought he was better, Mosley was a beast at the time, it was too risky.

The majority of fighters try and get themselves the advantage, didn't Mayweather make Marquez come up from lightweight, and still Floyd came in over the limit, this from a true pro such as Floyd, who doesn't have trouble making the WW limit, was this not to give himself an advantage?

Twice now you have posted posts showing how stupid you are..

He hasn't proven his self as the best in any weight class?, seriously?, here's a recent example and I can mention MANY. Wasn't Hatton the #1 140lber when Pac fought him?
