everybody is bitching about Haye loving money but its very contradicting when same assholes say that he didn't want to fight for 50% of the purse?? i'd say it's more likely k2 is lying about their 50/50 offer.. otherwise Haye would take it coz he loves money, right?

You are treading over well-worn ground. The fact is that he lied, end of story. I'm not a lawyer and I don't know what his options were. But I do know that his team lied and they continue to lie to this day (about the back).
Wrong! Haye can make a lot more money making two or three easy defenses in the UK than he can in one big fight against Wlad. A virtual walkover fight with Audley Harrison will probably make him nearly as much as the Wlad fight would because he'll be getting 70-80 percent of the pie.
you might be right but i still want to belive that money isnt everything for real athletes and sportsmen with honor. and that haye isnt a real ***** taking the easy way but the right one which goes through klitschkos. if winning that would generate a lot more that he could win fighting all fraudley harrisons of the world..
I don't think he's a *****, and I'm not a fan. I think he's a fighter who owns his own production company and has found an easier way to make money for himself. That is, promoting his own fights in the UK and only fighting one or twice a year. And it will work as long as his UK fans continue to make excuses for him and accept fights like the proposed clash with Audley.
I'm not sure Haye did lie. I think he hurt his back and may have fought anyway, but with no Setanta money it was a convenient reason to back out.
According to Golden Boy Promotions, Haye-Harrison looks like it is going to happen. It all depends on Haye and Booth.
