The Crocop vs Pat Barry fight was surprisingly good

    I think Crocop went away from the liver kick a bit too much. Guys were waltzing in protecting their heads, he used to just devastate the body since you cannot protect your head and your liver at the same time.. Both are pretty much fight ending if he lands right. Liver kick can literally make you **** your pants.

    Agreed. I thought Crocop got away from his kicks as a whole. You make a good point about the liver kick. He definitely turned the tide against Barry with that liver kick in the second round. It was strange to see Crocop throwing side kicks, hook kicks and axe kicks as well. At first I thought it meant he wasn't going to commit to the left round kick but he eventually unloaded it.

    Id give him a decent chance vs either. Carwin never seems to look to take the fight to the ground he always wants to stand. CroCop is a better striker IMO, Carwin is alittle stiff and dependent on the right hand. I think Cop could use leg kicks to set up his hand combos and maybe score a KO. Just nobody is taking a Carwin right hand thats just about a damn sure thing at this point.

    I think he has a good chance vs Brock to. Agian CroCop is the better striker more well rounded and fluid on his feet and I think his takedown defense is perfect for the Brock type of takedown. CroCop has never been truely great vs single legs or clinch takedowns but he has an excellent sprawl vs double legs and Brock doesnt always set his takedowns up so Cop could maybe see them coming.

    All this said though id like to see Mirko get 2 more wins and then look for a title shot. Ive been calling for a fight with Frank Mir next. Frank might be thinking of 205 but why not try and make a fight around 220 with CroCop to see how his body feels and thats just around what Mirko weighs anyway.
