I loved how he bragged about getting stitched up without anesthesis, what a hard man!

But do they normally anesthetise when stitching up? I was stitched up once and wasn't anesthetised.

Also, there's a point after the fight when he's sitting in his dressing room and he says "Everything's gonna be different." - was he crying when he said it??? (if anyone remembers) Kinda sounded like it.

 

No... an A&E doc would laugh at you if you asked for anything when stitching up such a small cut... my bro and two sisters are all doctors

 

The way he talks makes it sound he's always been anesthetized as a matter of course.

 

ive had lots of cuts of various sizes on my face and never been offered anything for it, so wouldnt think hes unique in not getting anaesthetic

 

I think he's saying he's unique in the fact that he expected to get an anesthetic.

 

I have nothing to say really, just want to say i actually laughed out loud reading that.

What a tough guy!! His ability not to feel pain must have been developed during his really tough upbringing!! lol

I've gotten stiched prob 8 or 9 times and i've never had anything. Actually I quit getting stiches and just use superglue.

 

Froch is a cartoon.

 

I was offered/had anaesthetic when I cracked my head open a couple of times.

I was like 5 though ..

I've gotten stitches 3 times and have received anethesia all 3 times. I always thought it was common practice.

 

I've gotten stitched up twice and received anasthesia both times. The second cut was on my hand under my thumb, it was fairly deep. They took a needle full of numbing fluid of some sort and stuck it around in there for a while until I couldn't feel that area of my hand then he sutured it up. The numbing process was quite painful in and of itself from what I recall.
