Hey guys. :smooch http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...ren-Amir-Khan-advisers-have-got-it-wrong.html
To be fair, they did try to get Katsidis, Murray and Casamayor for that July date. But all of them wanted too much money. A shame, I really wanted to see the Katsidis fight, or even a chance to see him demolish Murray for the all the trash talking he's done since Khan turned pro. But with that said, surely they could have found some domestic guy that would be durable to last 12 rounds, and give Khan some rounds under his belt. He's fought only 12 ****ing rounds since he beat Kotelnik (which was a year ago!), and now he's going to remain inactive for another 8 months? Shocking. I know Khan's made a brave move in venturing with GBP, but Fank would never have let this happen :verysad
richard schaefar came out sayin they wernt fightin in july because of the world cup it dosnt make sense money wise so i dont know maybe they shouldnt care about the money and get him more ring experience
Stop spinning this ****. Katsidis camp said they were ready to fight and received NO OFFER. Katsidis travels the world fighting the best, he aint pricing himself out of ****. And Schaeffer has said it got cancelled because of other sporting distractions.
Kiss my ass Jerome. Yeah I agree with you. Forget trying to maximize returns, the kid needs to remain active. And if the World Cup was such an issue, why the **** have you got JMM vs Juan Diaz fighting on PPV in the same month? Besides, he said he wanted Khan on the same date as them (31st) to make it part of the PPV package. It's on the 31st July, 2 weeks after the World Cup finishes, so I still can't see why he couldn't have made it happen. :verysad
The thing is Schaefer said that they only want to go forward from the Paulie fight and this fight with Casamayor who is relatively unknown to Casual UK fans would be bad. The short time of promotion plus it would likely be a bad PPV card. It could have bad results on Khan's reputation. A very good read here Rico, check it out. http://blogs.bettor.com/Here-is-Why-Amir-Khan-July-Fight-in-UK-Got-Cancelled-a12673
