How surprised would you be if Green beats Ward?

    I wouldnt be too surprised.

Dont get me wrong ward has looked the best out of all the Super 6 fighters. But he is still relatively unproven. We dont know too much about his mentality, mental toughness etc. If green really applied pressure and corners ward and takes him to the trenches, he may well crack?

i still feel ward is clear favourite and probably will win. but dont discard green. dont be too surprised if he wins. Ive seen threads on here of people saying it will be the biggest shock ever if green won. i disagree with that 100%

If he wins by fluke knockout, not that surprised. If he not only doesn't get outclassed but wins a decision, I imagine I will have shat a good 15 bricks before logging back on to this site to try and edit several of my comments. ...And to get all my vCash back at vGunpoint.

Edison Miranda tried to apply pressure and look what happened. The Same pressure that Allen Green folded under...:yep With that being I do not and will not ever overlook a opponent any man that steps into a ring has a chance to win.

Quite surprised, admittedly. I'm not ruling it out, I'm not gonna say he has no chance because I don't know an awful lot about him if I'm honest. I expect Ward to come over with a UD, if Green wins I'll be a little shocked, but not entirely.

Green, as any brawler does, has a slim punchers chance to defeat Ward.

Although I would have much preferred to see Green come in to the Super 6 fighting one of the Europeans, style wise, this is a good matchup between a slick Bernard Hopkins type boxer and a hungry brawler with power in both hands.
My guess is that Ward will succeed in fighting his type fight and frustrate Green who will be looking for a KO.
I expect to see Green connect with some sharp power shots early in the match, possibly stunning Ward. But Ward is good at clinching to break up his opponents momentum, and I think he will out hussle, out score, and out speed Green.

Too bad Green had to face Ward in his first matchup and get a defeat in his first fight. Would have rather seen him fight Froch or Kessler where he had a better chance of entering the competition with a WIN.

Well its a bit of an upset if he wins, but Im rooting for him even though I dont think he will win, cause I think he will give a great effort and I wont be surprised if he somehow pulls it of.

Anything can happen, but it's very unlikely to. Green is in this tournament because his promoter lost a fighter (Taylor) and was entitled to swap in another from his stable. Green is not on the level of other fighters in the tournament. But that doesn't mean I won't be rooting for him.
