LOL I distinctly remember the Hatton fight like it was yesterday. Me and some buddies are sitting there having a couple beers. the host asks me first, when pacquiao would beat hatton. ya just straight up when would Pac KO Hatton. I said "round 2". And boom like clockwork. Hell I was surprised ricky got outta the first round! Now thats saying something about pac. *well hatton did beat kostya, but hes basically playing around the 140 division like a little ***** girl A LA AMIR KHAN
really? cause apart from Kostya, Hatton fought Maussa, Urango, Malignaggi, Castillo (who was shot for sure) I mean Amir Khan, Tim Bradley and Devon Alexander ain't got that.
I have only been wrong in the DLH fight. But Im not old enough to remember the Barrera fight (cause I was only 11 years old I think) and the Morales 2 fight (because Denmark doesnt show a lot of boxing) so if I was old enough I would have probably been wrong in three fights.
ODLH: I'll admit I was scared shitless when I first heard about this fight. Hatton: I was expecting Hatton's body punching would give Pac problems but not expecting Pac to completely demolish Hatton in just 2 rounds.
Just like a lot of people, I thought De La Hoya would win. I was actually against this fight. I thought it was a case of Oscar taking advantage of a much smaller guy's rising star status...I didn't even get to watch it live, ended up walking all over Manhattan, trying to find a place that was showing it. By the time I got home, it was over, and I was shocked to hear Pacquiao not only won, but dominated! I was a little iffy on the Cotto fight. Being a fan of his, I was picking Pacquiao, but I said that if my pick was a life or death situation, I'd go with Cotto, because he was much bigger, stronger, and more accustomed to the weight and fighting bigger guys. But once that knockdown happened in round 3, I knew it was a wrap. I knew Cotto wasn't coming back from that!
From now on just pick him to win and let's see what happens. I don't care if he's fighting Wlad. Pick Pacquiao
Since following his career, Juan Marquez 2 was the only one i was worried about. The look in Marquez's eyes rivaled that of mannys. Neither wanted to back down. I thought oscar was foolish to face a little speedy slickster with killer instinct from when they signed, cotto would be ODLH 2 and manny had every reason to beat ricky hatton. I wasn't fully into boxing for MAB or Morales.
