45% of the purse for a fight of this extent is a good chunk of change for getting your AZZ schooled.

thats just plain stupid if you ask me....what it SHOULD be based on its their accomplishments....Manny has moved up in weight and is knocking guys out and doing it more spectacular and exciting than Manyweather is....he deserves just as much....50/50 is the only way

pac vs de la hoya couldnt sell more floyd vs mosley...that should tell u something about who deserves the majority of the split...all recent fights numbers show that floyd is a bigger draw...50/50 is what the fans want, u notice alot of these posts say 'for me, 50/50', anybody who is in floyds shoes and would accept 50/50 is a bad businessman...people want to get on here and claim that manny is more popular and yadda yadda, but have no reasoning to support it besides their own personal feelings.

Nobody on this site would accept 50/50 if they had to split money between themselves and another guy in which you earn and generate more clearly. It is fundamental human nature. Floyd dont have to take less just to get that clown in the ring. Pac should know his place by now and know he is a 12-15 million dollar earner and Floyd is a 20 mill plus earner. Numbers dont ****ing lie. Only people and *******s.

I'm looking at it from a different POV.

Floyd probly needs that 10-20% extra to cover his medical bills after they fight. :good

whenever Floyd spouts he earned this and that, Floyd boys take his word for it. but if he said something about getting a two year off, its bs. whatever suits your agenda, youre in for it.

    Crax said it well.

That doesn't belong to the defense specialist, but rather the guy who takes THREE left uppercuts in a row and fails to counter them.

    Pac/Clottey ppv > Floyd/Baldomir

    Pac/Clottey ppv > Floyd/Castillo

    Pac/Clottey ppv > Floyd/Zab

    Mayweather-De La Hoya > Pacquiao-De La Hoya

    Mayweather-Marquez > Pacquiao-Clottey + Pacquiao-Marquez II

    Mayweather-Hatton > Pacquiao-Hatton

    Mayweather-Mosley > Pacquiao-Cotto

    Hell

Mayweather-De La Hoya > Everyone Else in Boxing

So give Pacquaio the rights to Asia and Mayweather the rights to America/Europe, fair? Or 60-40 for FMJ in America/Euro, 60-40 Pacman in Asia. That makes more economic sense, but I guarantee you the Asian revenues pale in comparison.

Fights aren't always split 50-50 or 60-40 anyway, different fighters get revenues from different sources. For instance Mayweather was foolish enough to give Hatton the entire Brit PPV revenue, which ended up around £15million, which at the time I believe was $30million

Anyway we all know Bob Arrum is screwing Pacman for a big chunk of his change anyway.

Bottom line, I'm not that bothered how its split I want the fight, but to say Mayweather is ducking when he brings more to the table financially is BS

If floyd said 80/20 split, you ***gots would be on here trying to justify it.

This fight is 50/50 because they are both equal draws for this fight.
Floyd won't make 1/3 what he will make at a 50/50 split with pac.

If mayweather so badly wants 60% why doesnt he accept a 50/50 deal with pac to make the fight. bet 10% of his money on himself to beat pacquiao (since hes so confident he is the superior fight and we know he loves a gamble. fight gets made and if mayweather is as good as his mouth he makes 60%ish. if not 40%of the money could buy him a small island with no internet or press and he can live out the rest of his life with ellerbe watching the sun rise.
