The body work Ward has put in has been crucial. Green just standing there, eating jabs and rights from range. Looks like he's waiting for that KO punch. To land on him.

    Round 7

Ward with two leaping jabs followed by a you know what. Green is BACK against the ropes as War is just able to push him into the ropes. Ward lands a big glancing right hand and Green isn't happy. Jab and then clinch by Ward. Ward lands a straight left that Green JUST got enough of to not get KO'd. Green eats a right hand and tries to walk through it. Green gets jabbed three times in a row and looks for a clinch agin. Ward is beginning to get a little jumpy and leaping in, leaving himself open. Ward with a 1-2 that is a little too long on Green. Ward has Green against the ropes and throws two punches. Green spins out and throws the weakest most pathetic looking punches that would make a 6th grader's punch look like Tyson. Green is just a bored fighter now.

Gus Johnson reminds me why he needs to stick to NCAA basketball by comparing Ward to a young Sugar Ray Leonard. Minus the amazing hand speed and power.

    Round 7

Ward keeps a body on Green and is no longer getting bogged down into clinches, able to pull anchor on his punches before they can be intercepted. Ward just follows after Green with a left hook to the jaw. Green starts lifting his hands but Ward is timing the drops and forcefeeding him jabs and rights. The jabs are actually hard enough to turn Green's head to profile-view. Green floats his own jab to get Ward's attention and drives a hard right hand down to his body. Ward continues to box a tight circle around Green, and when it approaches clinching territory begins to work his hands low. Green counters but it isn't enough.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Abraham would throw even less shots than Green is.
