As a fan, I find his fights boring to watch but as a boxer I appreciate his versatility. Tonight Ward showed us a solid infighting game. This guy will be a factor in both the super mw and light hw divisions.

    yeah valid criticisms tbh.

there was a point in the fight where u wanted him to stand off and pick green off from distance.

but he just kept going in with the same old tactics. :bart

    he's a winner though. :bbb

Just ah ugly style; one that fails to achieve most of the variants that I love about the sport. The holding and hitting, constant smothering, and lack of combination punching I find to be an outright dismal watch. That said, Ward fought smart and dominated. He is an elite fighter; one with a hideous style tho'.

    Look at your avatar.

Ward was rough early, but it became Green holding and Ward getting comfortable doing inside work using angles, and showing some movement. He showed great inside skills. Not clinch, maul, wrestle, pull head down, left hook to the body, leave chin up on the air, etc. Remind you of anyone?

I thought his style was ugly, but I became a fan tonight. After the first few rounds he stopped holding and did work. He's a bit hesitant, but he showed skills. He had a few great combinations... he had like 40 in the fight.

It's called inside fighting, chump. He put on a clinic and a masterful display of total domination, actually. Leave this site forever.

hatton was a come forward up close fighter.

that was his game u dummy.

ward can do it different when he wants to.

he just don't want to enough.

    hence the valid criticisms. :yep
