Tarver said it perfect, he is like RJJ except he is a lesser athlete but a fundamental boxer, but he is cagey as hell and safe like B-Hop it is a strange combination. Andre Ward might be the next #1 P4P fighter on the come up. I can't see anyone but Dirrell giving him problems.

 

You saw what he did to Kessler and Green. He beat them as bad as Roy Jones Jr would have beaten them.

Ward is a badass, but Sugar Ray Leonard/Roy Jones Jr. is pushing it.

He doesn't have special physical abilities. He's just a great, cerebral fighter.

 

I don't see Dirrell giving him any problems. 120 to 108!

 

Its the other way around actually. Ward is too much for bute much more versatile and savvy. He would also beat bute up on the inside

 

When Ward fights Dirrell he will have fought a better fighter than Bute in everyway.

Even then I'm not sure even Dawson would beat him. Andre Ward is a special fighter. Future pound for pound number one. Once Floyd and Pacquiao move on, I don't see anyone else in the sport with this guy's genuine level of ability. Ward is a seasoned champion already at this age. All the experience in the world, he knows how to deal with any style and has the physical talents to execute at that highest level. Also gotta love his focus. Mentally he has a laser focus on who he is as a person and what he needs to do as a fighter. I love it.

 

All judges scored 120-108. Ouch.
