I'll give you reflexes, but he's not exceptionally fast, has below-average power, and an average chin. P4P, a young Mayweather at 130 was far superior physical marvel.

What they have in common is that they are both boxing geniuses that can fight at any distance and dictate where fights are fought. Ward is also an amazing southpaw fighter...what he did to Kessler switching stances was incredible for a guy in his first world title fight.

I like Ward but Dawson is too much for him too big and too long. Dawsons jab would give Ward hell and I don't think Ward will find it easy to get inside on Dawson who is accurate throwing every punch in the book with a mean body attack. Add to it great movement and it's a recipe for disaster for Ward.

Kessler has a good chin. Green has a good chin. Yes Miranda knocked him out but Miranda is one of the hardest punchers ever.

Damn Tarver should stay on the announcing table, no need for him to go to HW.

Exactly. I mean, there are a lot of young guys coming up with the amateur pedigree, but Ward has taken that and combined it into a very comprehensive professional style. He is just so adaptable. Nothing shakes him in the ring. He goes in, does his thing, and doesn't think twice about it. He's sharp, alert, and reads his opponents tremendously well. The guy can dominate the sport for years to come.

If Ward wants to be considered an ATG like Jones, Toney, Hopkins, he has to fight Dawson after this tournament. And I don't think Ward is naturally small, I think he can move up to light heavyweight fairly easily.

James Toney and B-Hop both weren't exceptionally fast and both had average to below average power..

honestly dont get this terible boring fight stuff i thought it was entertaining and ward got his tactics spot on by getting close and smothering him . Green seems a bit like curtis stevens in that he's dangerous if you stand a tarms length and let him through punches
