The guy has plenty of skill and power yet his style is so annoying to watch. He follows almost every punch with his body lunging into the opponent with arms, elbows and shoulders flying everywhere, not to mention his intentional butts.

Fight properly or go into MMA.

This is Hopkins' legacy to American boxing. Ward will have a long career filled with home city advantages and ugly fights.
    ...
This may be the death blow to boxing.

Did i say he fought illegally?, although theres no denying he deliberately butted Kessler.

My point is that he is one of the top super-middleweights in the world and he is ****ing terrible to watch. You're obviously a fan so he entertains you but i couldn't care less if i never seen him fight again.

I agree with many of the statements here. He's an extremely talented and good fighter, can't deny that. I definitely didn't see as much of the "ram" style as in the Kessler fight last night, but even still it was ugly.

At this moment, I'd have to say that this guy will not be a boxing superstar, even if he wins the whole thing and remains undefeated. He just doesn't have the style to win people over, imo. But whatever, as long as he can pack em in at the Oracle in Oakland...

    I agree.

And to all people who says he is like Hopkins I say kill yourself, Hopkins is much more exciting, and is a better boxer.

Good for you, but just for a second compare Ward and Green to the two guys in your avatar. There's a world of difference in how each entertain us.

People are saying Ward could be a superstar but real boxing fans can't watch his style, theres no way the mainstream public could like this guy
