    Fitzsimmons destroys him. He was a middleweight, but he hit like a heavyweight.

    Have you taken a shot from Fitzsimmons? I dont see how you could say that he hits like a heavyweight unless you have.

    I have read pretty extensively on Fitzsimmons career, and based on everything I know about him, I think he was one of the hardest punchers, pound for pound, of all time. He routinely starched - and I mean, stretched out - guys who were like 30 pounds heavier. And he typically weighed around the supermiddle/LHW range for his HW fights. The guy could crack.

    Who has Ward fought thus far that cracks like this? And don't forget, Ward has tasted canvas against lesser fighters. Fitz annihilates him, I would bet the farm on it.

    Classic Rules: Fitzsimmons

    Neither man would be able to adapt and the other would take a bad beating. Ward would school Fitz (Even 167lb version) and batter him. Without gloves, Fitz would make a vicious mess of Ward's face.
