Froch's comments on Ward/Green fight...

Would be a great final tho as they are the best from the 6.

 

I haven't seen Ward's "entire career" and I'm sure he has gotten better over years so to be fair I only compare Super Six fighter's performances in the tournament. I don't know how he'd do against Abraham either.

Froch is a good boxing analyst. I personally LOVED watching that fight (not the Kessler fight though). I'm a fan of old-school rough and tumble boxing. Ward wasn't fighting illegally or anything, but there was nothing you could put on SportsCenter and have casual sports fans taking notice of. I think you need to be a boxer or a hardcore fan to appreciate that fight. I think Froch appreciates it more than he lets on.

 

I disagree. I found it entertaining. He whooped his ass in every way shape and form. Yes he fought on the inside the whole fight. But he did what he had to do to get the W. Green was the only one at fault for the "boringness" of the fight.

Call him what you want, but he's undefeated in 300+ amateur fights and in his pro career and in the super six. And he would destroy each and every one of you **** talkers in the ring so you really have no leg to stand on here. If you don't like him, don't watch him.

 

Froch was spot on. Even if Ward would win 50 fights in a row his style is just painful to watch. I give him the fact that he boxes with his head (not just literally), and eh finds a way to frustrate the hell out the opponents and the paying public. I dont know if is so versatile as some of the comentators and adoring fans believe but time will tell. His forward butting head is ripe for an uppercut :hey. However i CONSIDER HIM NR 1 ATM.

As strange as it sounds I actually think Froch matches up reasonably well vs Ward.

Frochs fights are more entertaining because he not good enough to DOMINATE anyone, so they are all competetive except when a shot JT embarrassed him for 10 st8 rounds before running out of steam. I guess it is better to be way less skilled like him.
