don't really care about sonny but am glad for the exposure he brings,so its a circus so what,boxing gets another focal point and headlines for a while bringing converts from other sports,it is what it is,if he does stick to boxing good on him,if he dont wont miss him as long as boxing in aus is getting publicity on mainstream media i'm happier for it.

But lacing on a pair of Boxing Gloves is not the Big Deal it is made out to be.... I fought as an Am.... and it wasn't exactly comparable with Lawnbowls.... But playing Rugby League or Union requires more courage (Don't know enough about AFL..... But I assume that it is just as tough) And speaking from personal experience..... Boxing isn't in the same league as crawling through the jungle slime on your belly knowing that there are people out there wanting to shoot you stone dead..... Your average Boxer is a tough boy who has taken and given a few thumps long before he entered the ring... But...I saw conscripts in Nam fresh outta ****ing Sunday School ..... never been in a blue in their lives..... a few months training.... a rifle stuck in their hands.... now go and face an enemy that hates you and will do everything possible to kill you... Those kids showed incredible courage.... Lacing on a pair of boxing gloves is a walk in the park in comparison.

Ash as you are close to team Mundine and spend time in their camp recently are they doing the right thing and throwing you are couple of free tickets or do you have to cough up for your own seats ?
